Note: Mountain bikers are ONLY allowed Pakihi Hut to Pakihi Road end (one-way). If you wish to mountain bike, take the Pakihi Hut via Motu Road trek. The Pakihi Track to Pakihi Hut. This trek follows the Pakihi stream and is used for hiking and trail running. There's a good chance you'll see native New Zealand birds and fish along the way. Near the Pakihi Hut, there is here is a suspension bridge over a beautiful gorge. The Pakihi hut is a standard six-bunk bed hut with heating and mattress with a first-come first-serve policy.
