In a triangle of mountains wedged between Garda and the Giudicarie, peripheral and forgotten by (almost) everyone. Easy and panoramic excursion. No more Dolomite lands but not yet in the Lombard pre-Alps. Other information in Cipputiblog.Show more

The itinerary, nice in hand, is intuitive and simple: from Val di Ledro take the road to Val di Concei and the town of Lenzumo. You park just outside the village, more or less at the signs that indicate the relevance of the paths for the Rif. Pernici or Bocca Tratt (we parked a little further, at the entrance of the path for Monte Cadria). From here, if you look at the orography, you immediately realize that you are at the center of a natural amphitheater whose green peaks always oscillate between 1800 and 2200 meters. Once you reach the first one, there is nothing left to do but set off and follow the profile drawn by nature for the next 25km. We climbed from the side of Monte Cadria - 2254mt (the highest peak of the day) and then clockwise followed the sharp rocky edge towards the Rock of Campei, Corno di Giù, Bocca dell'Ussol, Gaverdina, Dosso della Torta , Mount Tofino, Corno di Pechea and Mazza di Pichea ..... In two words a magnificent ride which in the first half was long exploratory, on traces of a path that time and luxuriant nature now tried to conceal and, in the second part, it showed clearly the trace of the many passages and evident the fact that it is a very popular and popular place (especially by the "locals").Show more

The hike to Monte Cadria requires a good level of fitness and sure-footedness. Whoever chooses the heavier variant for ascending or descending over the ridge must be absolutely free from vertigo. The easier variant through the Malga Cadria plateau is much simpler and less dangerous. There are only a few exposed positions in the area of the summit. The tour can be shortened by choosing the concrete road to Malga Vies for the ascent. We only chose this route for the descent. If the summit of Monte Cadria is not enough, you can theoretically hike almost completely in a circle over the ridge to the summit Cima Pari, which towers over Lake Ledro, or beyond. In a day, however, this is hardly possible.Show more
