This is the first stage of the Brenta Dolomites Trek (DBT): a long loop of 89km divided into 11 stages that goes around the entire mountain range of the Brenta Dolomites with an average altitude of 2000 meters. This route leads to the Val Ambiez Silvio Agostini Refuge at 2450 meters. Leave your car at the Dolomiti Refuge, Baesa locality, 850mt altitude and go up the road that leads to the Cacciatore Refuge. At the Pont del Paride, about 1550 meters high, there is a beautiful view of the amphitheater.Show more

This is the sixth stage of the Brenta Dolomites Trek (DBT): a long ring route of 89km divided into 11 stages that goes around the entire mountain range of the Brenta Dolomites with an average altitude of 2000 meters. Agostini Refuge (2405 m) will welcome you in one of the most beautiful valleys of the Brenta Dolomites, the Val d'Ambiez. This valley is narrow in the first part and approaching the Refuge opens into a beautiful amphitheater. In this basin you will be surrounded by overhanging Dolomite walls perfect for climbing the rock. The most famous is that of Ambiez, climbed annually by hundreds of climbers. From here you can admire a beautiful view towards the south: the Giudicarie valleys, Lake Garda, Monte Baldo in the background. Next to the XII Apostoli Refuge there is a small church to visit and also a huge boulder that testifies to the collapse of the Jandl Tower in the 1950s.Show more

The Tuckett Refuge (m. 2271) is located at the foot of Castelletto Inferiore, was built in 1906 and is dedicated to Francis Fox Tuckett, a British mountaineer. From here you can admire the Vedretta di Brenta Inferiore (also called Vedretta di Tuckett), the Bocca di Tuckett and the imposing Cima Brenta. The view from the refuge is truly breathtaking and expands from the white peaks of the Adamello to the Presanella pyramid.Show more

Here you will find all the stages of the DBT: https://www.alltrails.com/lists/dolomiti-di-brenta-trek From Malga Spora the path marked SAT 301 (EE) intersects, which descends from the Graffer Refuge and continues on this towards Andalo passing through the area of monumental larches. In 30 minutes you reach the Malga Cavedago field where you take the SAT 338 (E) path (1848 m) which climbs quite easily the whole beautiful Val dei Cavai to the Sella del Montoz (2327 m) in 1.45 hours. From Sella in 1 hour you go down to Malga Campa (1975 m) (with bivouac).Show more
