This is a very easy hike through the largest, high alpine meadow in all of Europe. The Alpe di Siusi (Italian) or Seiser Alm (German), has many trails to walk on. Situated in northern Italy’s South Tyrol area, it has views that are incredible. And everything in this area is still signed in both Italian and German. It is a very popular skiing destination in the winter also. A nice easy day spent with endless views.Show more

Start at Goldknopf, head along path 2A to 13A and then follow the signs to Launhutte then to Spitzbuhel. The whole way you are going through the fields of Seiser Alm, going past cows and sheep and looking at the Schlern Mountain before you. There is an excellent view of the Schlern and the Seis valley from Spitzbuhel. On the way back go by the Panorama Hotel and take path 2 to 2A back to Goldknopf.Show more
