#7 - Colle di Entrelor
Gran Paradiso National ParkLength: 6.9 mi • Est. 5 h 27 m
From the village of Bruil you enter the village, next to the church and houses, you pass a bridge and go back up the forest path, following the signs for "Entrelor" and the Alta Via no. 2 trail markers. After several bends in the beautiful larch forest, covered with rhododendrons, we come to a beautiful "Ru", a canal for water used for centuries for irrigation. The beautiful path goes around the Chateau du Couélet, continues in the woods again, then arrives at a beautiful and scenic esplanade with a cross, decisive comeback in the Vallone di Entrelor, touching the homonymous pastures and giving beautiful views of the head of the valley, the Peaks of Entrelor, the Gran Rousse, the Rabouigne, the Treutse, the Becca Tsambeina ... We go up now with the path that steeper than the right hydrographic bank of the valley, leaving to the side the rocks that lead to the Entrelor Glacier. You enter the closed valley by the steep rock faces south of the Cime di Gollien, the trail becomes a track and, by stony ground, you get to Colle di Entrelor (3007mt). From up there you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Vallone di Nampio, towards the Valsavarenche, and the marvelous crown of peaks of the hydrographic right of the PNGP valley: from the Gran Nomenon to Grivola, to the Herbete, to the Piccolo and Gran Paradiso. The descent can be made from the same itinerary, or deviating at the height of the Alpe Plan de la Feya (2403mt) towards the Gollien Pass (2560mt), placed under the Head of Entrelor; it goes down again in the valley of Sort towards the Casotto del Parco, and then it rejoins almost to the starting point at the Maison Prè du Bois, and from there to Bruil.
