Here now! Great views, well maintained trails making for a nice stretch of the legs.

My wife and 16 year old son did this blue trail which after the waterfall was Poorly marked but you can add on to this 50 minute hike by walking to the castle and back to the parking area. A bit Streep after the waterfall but nice canopy .

Fantastic hike with stunning views. Definitely not easy. Good/decent weather is key to this one. Highly recommend proper preparations, i.e. proper footwear, rain or shine clothing, GPS (map tracking), plenty of water, one or two snacks. Also highly recommend hiking poles; we found that they came in very handy and a couple of times they were life saving. Only criticism for this hike is the fact that once one has passed the Devils Punchbowl (Stoompa Peak and beyond) and continues on on the loop the path is no longer obvious and the further one goes becomes non-existent, possibly making the hike a bit treacherous at times. Given this fact and otherwise a leisurely pace with plenty of stops to take in the amazing scenery the whole loop took us just under 7 hours.

Great waterfall! The ideal view is in the beginning and at the top of the stairs overlooking Muckross lake. After that, you take a nice easy walk through the woods. It is beautiful in early June when the rhododendrons are blooming!

Pedestrian at first but the loop is like an enchanted forest and good waterfall - wish the forest part was longer but a really cool hike!

This is a wonderful trail over rugged wind-swept hills. We saw another person only rarely. Beautiful secluded waterfall midway (suitable for the first of May). First half is on gravel road; second half on stones and wooden boards over the marshy bits.

Super fun short trail! It was beautiful and even with the fog the views at the peak were stunning. Recommended!

For having done twice this hike at 2 different times of the year, the place is beautiful and the nature breathtaking

Can also go great with buggy!

Love doing Torc Mountain, 3rd time now doing and time is getting better each time today did it in 42mins delighted. Fantastic views well worth it

Great trail, gets a bit steep, boardwalk and stepping stones. Be careful when wet, they have put white mesh down instead of the wire and it's quite slippy in parts.

Nice walk, waterfall is lovely, after that gets a bit steeper. We took the red trail so lot of incline and loose rock. Bring plenty of water!

Excellent trail with wooden sleepers to walk on where the ground is soft

Epic hike. Stunning views if you get a clear day. When I went up there were low clouds but they cleared when I was at the top and wow the view! Epic!

The start of the walk is very busy as far as the visual waterfall during busy periods and weekends with loads of tourists and horse and carts. Dogs are very welcomed once they can behave with horses. Nice little climb up hill with lovely natural shading and he distant sound of the waterfall!!

If one starts out at Muckross castle and go through the gardens on the way, it smells wonderful this time of year! Pram friendly until you come to the falls., then the loop goes up stairs that is on a steep incline. Great to do on an early Sunday morning!

Great hike with amazing views and scenery of the National Park, would recommend to beginners. Started from Muckross House, from here you can walk passed Torc waterfall, however if you follow the road signs for "Old Kenmare Road" then you will find parking above the waterfall which will shorten the journey.
