A very idyllic walk with beatiful scenery open down lands and rolling fields and further distant views of Arlington reservoir and the wind turbines out to sea near Brighton. The Long Man of Wilmington is also a must to see with this ancient man carved now into the downs and can be seen for miles. The very last part and a small section of the walk is extremely rutted by heavy farm machinery, and has made the path very hazardous for walkers now. And is in need of some works to make this section suitable for walkers again.

Really nice dog friendly trail, area near the end was VERY overgrown in June / July.

This is a great trail, we went on a clear sunny day and the view from the hill was spectacular. This has a better view than devils dyke because you have a full panoramic view.

Very good walk however waypoints are missing on Alltrails website so had to revert to ifootpath for directions

Wonderful walk absolutely loved it. Dog friendly would highly recommend can see in the winter this could be muddy in places but is dry at the moment

a great walk with excellent directions. shame it was a complete wash out today but I bet the views are great.

Gentle walk with plenty of surroundings for the dog to explore off lead. Worth spending extra time exploring Farringdon including the Rose & Crown pub.

Lovely mixed route, great scenery and chance to stop at great tea room. Even bought a jug at the pottery!

Beautiful woodland! A nice walk. Would do it against. We started in Rogate instead so we could have a pub lunch afterwards at the White Horse.

lovely walk taking in some of the South Downs Way.

This was an easy very varied walk. We particularly enjoyed the paths in Stoke Wood and the views as we reached the field near the sculptures. Although there was quite a lot of walking on quiet roads it was lovely to see places we have only driven past before from a different aspect. Thank you.

Lovely easy walk in very dry weather but can see areas that would be very muddy. Nice mix of deep countryside and pretty villages with pavement walking. Finishing in Arundel with a nice cold lager!

Loved this walk. Beautiful scenery and views.

We really enjoyed this walk which has fantastic views and a lovely mixture of paths. As always the instructions were fantastic. Just a word of warning... the first footpath, after passing through the two kissing gates, was easy to find and to follow, but quite overgrown. We were glad we weren’t wearing shorts as there were a lot of nettles! Thank you.

I would recommend this walk, but if you have a dog when going through the last field with cattle up hill was a bit scary as every cow walked with me luckily the bull didn’t take much notice, just be prepared, apart from that a lovely walk through woods and fields

A pleasant walk especially the Broadwalk through the woods. Around Funtington the fields were full of pigs meaning my dog has to be kept on her lead for long stretches of the walk. Some particularly ripe smells around the Pig farm! Overall a nice easy walk but a little too much time walking along the roads for my liking.

Lovely walk, saw sheep and some pony trekkers. Directions very clear.

Beautiful trail to see the bluebells in April/early May. Allow 2 hours if you’re stopping to take pics. You can find good spots to stop for a picnic. Dogs and children friendrly. Some steep parts but not extreme at all. You can start and finish at The George Eartham, great pub with great food and ales.

Excellent walk taking in a village, a river and a short climb with views.

Bit of a hill across the fields at the start. Directions were spot on, nice walk with good variety, including a gentle amble around a pretty village. Enjoyable.

Thank you Mr Grandad for this walk, the views were spectacular and passing the 2 memorials really sent a shiver down the spine. Lest we forget.

Lovely walk. Great instructions. We added it to the end of the West Marden loop walk to make the most of a beautiful day. Thank you.

Very enjoyable walk after good lunch at The Welldiggers Arms. The village hall at Fittleworth is a good comfort break with a well-stocked local shop next door.

A fabulous walk with stunning views ...we will be revisiting...lots of good pubs nearby for lunch too! 12/4/19
