Lovely easy walk. Quite busy. Some good spots to watch the steam trains near Grosmont

This is a nice walk through woods and fields. The path is clear to follow.

Great easy route with incredible coastal views. Highly recommended.

Easy flat/level walking in pleasant environment. All footpaths decked so suitable for wheel chairs and prams. Footpath follows the shallow river.

really worth a go. hard work and a lot of challenges on they way. what makes it even more fun.

Hi Another lovely walk instructions spot on again also the esk valley walk from castleton to grosmont is also very nice there are plenty of animals en-route and its close to railway and river esk regards bailes

My first walk too. You can make it longer by going round the next earth works field and we did. Beautiful, easy, gentle walk.

My first walk using this fantastic app, BRILLIANT.

Have to agree with previous comments, the path wasn't great. It was a warm day and rightly or wrongly I wore shorts - my legs are badly scratched and stung. Also the second field we crossed was occupied by cattle who took a dislike to our entering their territory and decided to run at us. Luckily we made it out in one piece by the skin of our teeth! We definitely won't be repeating this walk.

The ravines have steep steps, so care is needed. Some steps are uneven stone, others are soil retained by wooden boards which may be a little loose. I would recommend a walking pole. Stunning views over the sea, with wave-cut platforms visible at low tide. There is access to beaches, but these may be overgrown with thistles and nettles in the summer. The Station Cafe at Cloughton is only open Saturday to Wednesday, even during summer school holiday, but is lovely if you can visit.

Really really bad path. Chased by horses who kicked the dog.

A great walk,we walked out from Goathland over the moors on the opposite side of the valley and then followed this route back.

Very pleasant walk, especially the first part along the side of the beck.

Nice, easy stroll for a breath of fresh air.
