hiking

Great walk with a few attractions, old ruins, waterfalls and fountain. It has a few steep places to climb so not just a flat promenade. The dog loved it as well.

nice walk round can't get to the water though. quite a lot of road walking.

Our first trail using the app, myself and my two kids did it (4 and 6 years old). Maybe a bit more challenging for their first one, but I really enjoyed it. Well described, and a good work out. Managed to get back into Masham to sample a beer at Theakstons Brewery, so a great afternoon!

Great walk. pity about rain.

Although the supplied trail is only 2.8 miles, you can easily double that or more by walking around the area. It's a fabulous place for the family and for dog walking (on lead). Best get there early as it gets really busy by lunch time.

Great directions and interesting info to go with it. Love the GPS map too.

Lovely mix of stunning rocks and quiet walking on springy moorland paths. Brilliant directions.

Lovely walk that is quite challenging. Some areas are quite remote and navigation is quite difficult as not all the paths are clearly signed as footpaths. (I would suggest using the app so that you can check the live map and make sure you are still on the right track.)

I liked every part of this walk from the riverside path and the climb to Raven Scar to the magnificent views near the end of the walk. We were lucky enough to see the fountain too. It's easy to imagine how wonderful this must have been to visitors when it was originally built.
