Walked to the start from Marazion Caravan Club site and noticed that there was only parking for 2 cars in a small layby. Beautiful walk along quiet lanes and enjoyed our time at the castle. We took the ferry across £2 per person, dog went free as the tide was in. Returned across the causeway. We checked tide times and this worked out well because as soon as the causeway was accessible, there were masses of people crossing onto the island. Dogs were not allowed in the castle or gardens.

A really great trail, cows, horses, and amazing views. We stumbled upon it by accident when visiting Tintagel Castle, so we weren't in the most appropriate footwear, but managed it all the same in my vans :D

Very good trail, the coastal route is spectacular. The inland route is a bit fiddly with some walking on quiet roads and a few stiles were in very poor condition. Took us about 4.5 hours with a few brief stops

A must for anyone who loves walking the Cornish coast, taking in some of the most breathtaking views anywhere in Cornwall.

I did this over a day and a half and it was simply spectacular. Continued on the 2nd day to Newquay. Can’t recommend hiking Cornwall enough.

Beautiful but quite tough trail along the coast . Lots of steps, but probably typical of a lot of the Cornish coastal path.

Beautiful walk with stunning scenery, we did want go a bit further so carried on around the coastal path to Church Cove & then took the path into Lizard from there.

Overall, some great views with a relatively easy hike. The trail back however was quite overgrown with brambles leading to a bit of a tough slog. The trail also finishes on the road which is never a fantastic place to be in England. Would recommend this as an out and back rather than a loop.

Tintagel Castle itself is closed for development work as at 4/6/19, but that shouldn’t put you off this energetic walk with beautiful views.

Beautiful sea views. Some steep and rocky stairsteps. Moderate fitness required. Worth the effort.
