An amazing hike with stunning coastal views. Park at the Lead Mines car park. I'd say moderate to strenuous at times. Enjoy a coffee at Polzeath Beach before circling back.

The first half of this walk is all along the coast line, beautiful views and easy to follow footpath. The second half is through farms and fields, if you do this walk in October (like me) make sure you wear shoes you don’t mind getting muddy (unlike me!) Once you get around the main coastal part of the walk there is a small tea room, and if you want to go to the beach you can access it from this walk. I started/finished at the Trevone bay beach car park, easy to find on maps and only costs £5 for the entire day. Nice walk, would be better in the summer months.

HikingMuddy

Done this walk late October so the track was quite muddy due to heavy rain recently. This walk is part of the Cornish coastal path so is well looked after with clear signs along the way, and plenty of benches and places to sit. Would be best to do during the summer months as the views all around are incredible, very windy if you do during the winter like me. My starting/end point is a national trust car park which was nicely located for this walk.

Stunning walk. Went inland first and coastal on way back. I would say it was more moderate than easy as lpts of very uneven and narrow paths with steep steps. Muddy in places. Views were incredible.

HikingGreat!

Lovely walk with amazing views. We parked at the beach at Harlyn, then about 200 yards down the beach there are some stone steps up to the track. We picked a gorgeous day for the walk, I would avoid it if it’s wet / been wet because it would be very muddy and therefore quite treacherous in parts. But on a dry day it’s stunning!

Fairly easy route, steps can be an issue at times but with good weather and great views it is worth it!

Great varied walk and with gorgeous views. We took inland first and coastal route back. The inland part at the beginning was a bit hard to follow at first. We followed the path through someone’s garden but it was marked as a public footpath so we assumed it was correct. A few fields were muddy and cowpatty but not too bad. Lamora cove is lovely. The coastal path is a bit challenging on the way back, but it is totally worth it.

Disappointed in first part though the fields, whilst view was stunning from the top the fields were wet and muddy (should have expected that) and the 3k uphill walk didn’t seem worth it. Not ideal for large dogs as some of the stiles would need lifting over. The second part more than made up for it, the walk along the river was excellent (stop off and look around the waterfalls too), coast path on way back was also stunning.

We only did the one way from Boscastle to Tintagel. Make sure to stop at ladies window and Tintagel castle on the way! Slight detour off the route. We ended in Tintagel town itself and was 9.5 km around 2.5 hours. You can easily get a taxi or bus back from Tintagel to Boscastle (£11 in 2020)

Incredible walk with beautiful sights. Ww had to detour from the path in the beginning as there was a construction site blocking the path.
