Description

The Chiltern Hills are a range of hills northwest of London. They form a chalk escarpment across Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire, and Bedfordshire. The highest point is Haddington Hill near Wendover in Buckinghamshire which measures 267 m (876 ft) above sea level. The summit is marked by a stone monument. The AONB offers visitors a variety of paths that travel along hillsides and through woodlands.
