Lovely route, including some excellent historical landmarks on route. Was a very hot sunny day which had its perks but also very warm. Will definitely do it again - potential to add on extra kilometres if wanted to extend the loop as many other paths around.

A wet and muddy family walk through this beautiful area. Perfect. If you have kids with you, it ends with a little play park.

New to the area and wanted to go along the hills. Did it on a warm evening, loads of nature to look out for and really nice views along the way (not just at the top). Thanks for putting it up ✌️

A great walk on a spring day. Very peaceful.

Great little walk. Just enough variety to keep you entertained!

A lovely waterside walk.

Nice walk but note that the Blackbird is now a fine dining restaurant not a country inn! Friendly and fine for a drink but very few bar snacks. Food looked good if you want a full meal but quite pricey and you'd need to book.

Parking still £4 for cars (free for NT members) - brilliant walk on brilliant sunny day with magnificent West Kennet Long Barrow to explore. Only slightly muddy in areas - Jinny&Jeremy 14 Feb 2019

Really nice short walk with plenty of variety

Lovely walk with good directions. By Linda

excellent for the kids, with great views!

Great, easy to follow directions and lovely, easy walk (especially on a crisp Autumn day) where dogs can be off the lead for most of it. The pub is dog friendly but we found it very overpriced for the standard of Sunday roast (which was very average) so probably wouldn’t eat there again, but good for a pint!

Excellent walk with clear directions. The house is stunning and the mosaic floor was incredible. Well recommended.

Nice walk but instructions across Snelsmore common need to be looked at. Got horribly lost (even though we re-read them 6 times) and had to retrace our steps to get back. Disappointing.

Great walk and very varied. The pub now has about 20 signs on all fence posts outside saying for patrons only, so as we were not intending to eat there, we decided to start at Snelsmore Common car park(free) and do the walk from waymark 3 and back to there. It worked just as well and Donnington Castle is a good picnic spot.

A great walk, but you do need a clear sunny day for it as it is very breezy on the top. The climb is well worth it for the fabulous views.

This is a lovely walk with lots of variety and chances to stop along the way at interesting places such as the castle and nice viewpoints. The pub is friendly and does a good Sunday roast!!
