German Shelter hike in Yerba Loca park. The first half of the trail traverses a closed service road and is easy for all hiking levels. The second half is a little steeper, more narrow, and with some loose rocks but falls somewhere between easy and moderate. Great views from the top and many informative trail signs along the way identifying nearby landmarks and distances traveled. The trails, parking and campground are all well maintained. 3.500 CLP entry fee for the park per person. Show more

Path from Yerba Loca that leads to Cerro del Medio (it receives that name since it is surrounded by several mountains, being considered the one with the easiest access). At the beginning the trail is quite clear but it is possible that in some sections it is not so well delimited. It is a good alternative for those looking for a short journey that does not require a lot of time.Show more
