Description
Situated just east of Santiago, the San Carlos de Apoquindo Natural Park offers miles of trails for hiking, mountain biking, and wildlife viewing. The park is bordered by Puente Ñilhue Natural Park to the north and Aguas de Ramón Natural Park to the south. As with many Chilean parks, visitors here will find a wide variety of rare flora. There is a fee to enter the park. Pets are not allowed in the park.

On the normal route of ascent to Morro Guayacán, this rock formation located on one of the edges of the Sierra de Ramón, you will find several points that offer incredible panoramic views, a small lagoon and a lot of vegetation. Among the fauna that you can find there are snakes and especially birds such as quail, partridges and some raptors.
