Los Flamencos National Reserve is divided into 7 sectors of different heights and climatic conditions, which in turn makes each of these sectors have a variety of fauna and flora different from the others. These 7 zones are: Tara and Aguas Calientes Salt Flats, Pujsa Salt Flats, Miscanti and Miñiques Lagoons, Atacama Salt Flats (Soncor), Atacama Salt Flats (Quelana), Moon Valley and Tambillo. Many animals live in the reserve, and particularly birds, among them, as its name suggests, flamingo. Access fees detailed on the reservation website
