This is what we would call a gravel road. I have not driven the entire length but have driven from the intersection south of Dawson, YT (Klondike Highway) into the Tombstone Territorial Park. The scenery is beautiful, especially as you get closer to the park. There are several trails within the park that are worth hiking. In order to get up close to some of the more spectacular peaks, it will take an overnight backpacking effort which requires a back country permit available at the Park Interpretive Center. Be aware that there are no gas or other facilities from the intersection of the Klondike Highway into the park.
