amazing hike. Start early to have enough time to enjoy the scenery. I started mid day, I had to rush back down to make daylight.

Beautiful hike!!!! Make sure you are prepared for various terrain (i.e. hiking boots are strongly recommended) and give yourself lots of time (i.e. start early in the day).

Done in 2016. Amazing experience, the shift in landscape and the agitated weather right before reaching the summit made it an unforgettable hike!

one of the hardest I climb, but it's a total beauty on top, this mountain is huge! expect a 6 to 7 hours trek

Done in summer 2016.

Incredible hike! Very long hike and hard on the knees in the descent, but very rewarding!

My tip: Bring lots of water and sunscreen. Amazing hike.

Amazing hike! The loop is definitely worth it vs the back & forth. More difficult but the scenery on the way down of this loop is amazing. One of my best hikes of the year for sure.

One of the most difficult, and beautiful hiking trails I have ever taken in Quebec

The trail starts across the road from the entrance to the park's information center, next to the campground. The side close to the road has recently been reworked and is an even, fine gravel path. The Saint-Anne falls are viewable from this path and are one of the park's attractions. This path is also part of the IAT/IAS and is pretty heavily trafficked by both day hikers looking for the waterfall and backpackers through hiking. The loop back on the other side of the river is a pleasant walk through the woods with a bit of elevation gain. This side is somewhat muddy and rocky in places, but a lovely hike nevertheless.

I have done this trail in February probably a dozen time since 15 years. Great Trail for snowshoeing and you reach a hut where you can warm up and eat your lunch.

A beautiful and unique experience, and a challenging day hike. Crossing the broad flat alpine tundra at the summit is surreal and the descent through the scrubby, rocky serpentine gulch is both beautiful and alien. Top it all off with a beautiful alpine lake and a waterfall at the end.

Be warned: the section down through the Serpentine rocks from around mile 4 to mile 6 is two solid miles of rock scrambling and will really drain you, particularly if you're on the shorter side.

Amazing hike though. You won't find too many anglophones making the trip, but I've done many day hikes in the east and nothing was quite like this. Not necessarily as stunning as say, the Franconia Ridge Trail, but an even more unique experience by my book.
