Great trail, there’s a sign that shows you where to turn for the ruins (in a website I read written in 2014 there wasn’t one) One thing I did not see anywhere in reviews- be careful if you go for a swim especially in the rocky areas for crabs!! Had a little guy try to grab my foot while walking along the edge. Also, parking is 12$ currently!

I’d consider this a trail walk, not a hike. But definitely beautiful. Quite a few people swimming in the waterfall.

Great hike. Very busy trail. P11 has reduced parking and was full before 9am. Had to park at P9 and walk the road to P11. Foot bridge at ruins is closed for repair but with low water you can cross over rocks above or below falls. Beautiful spot.

Little parking for COVID however I parked in a place that was not allowed and they did not tow. Just make sure to pay

It’s a easy trail with heavy traffic and lots of mosquitoes around you even spreading the off, part of the trail is closed at the ruins, but the falls and the ruins are awesome and deserve to go.

The bridge is closed, but the trail on the other side is worth it. You can cross the river by foot sometimes. The trails on the other side are worth it

A mix of terrain for trail running from wide gravel path at the beginning and end to technical trail with some wayfinding along Lac Phillippe. Lots of tree cover. Bugs in abundance.

Nice short hike. The trail is closed after you see the first ruin. So around 3.5km into the trail.

This is a beautiful hike but I would not call it a green/easy trail. I had my 4 and 5 year olds with me. They did it, but I wouldn’t recommend it. There are some very steep parts with loose gravel and slippery rocks that do not make it a great idea for you long kids. For adults and older kids it is great and scenic and a perfect distance.

Nice loop for running. Not technical, except the part right next to Lac Philippe. I highly suggest you try the 53B while you are at it.

This trail was very nice! I went with my family and my two dogs, and we all loved it. Some areas are a little steep, and rocky but it's worth it. The ruins were very pretty, but part of it was closed. I totally recommend.

A nice hike that can be done in a leisurely fashion. Definitely a days worth of moving around and site seeing. The old ruins of the mills make for great pictures.

Heads up! Winter season has begun in the park so this trail is not dog friendly until the spring. There are only two trails in the entire park that permit dogs during the winter. The winter and spring start dates are weather dependant and completely up to the park staff. Simply call ahead and check it out.

Trail conditions were good. This is a nice easy hike. Not the most scenic around this area but still nice - what's not to love about being in the woods.

Easy hike anyone can do. Photo ops include a foot bridge, still lake and the ruins that look like the perfect setting for a horror film.

Great trail, especially during fall. Takes you along wide trails. You can easily make an extra loop if you would like to do a bit of Lac-Philip as well.

Great trail, but the Kings Mountain part does not allow dogs :s so we had to back track. If you have dogs do 23 and turn left on 8 and follow that back to 31.
