Absolutely love this trail. The lake is beautiful and it’s just long enough to feel like you got a decent workout. There are usually quite a few people on the trail, which is to be expected at the Gatineau Park. I would recommend it as a nice outing for the day. Lots of places you could sit and have a picnic after.

Great spot to hike! The views can be a little bit obstructed however. Would be beautiful for snowshoeing during the winter.

Diverse, scenic and moderately challenging with steep inclines and stairs. The view from atop
King Mountain is worth seeing as well as the the many layers of Bridal Falls. Pink Lake was mildly busy with many people under-prepared for the terrain. Definitely worth exploring as individual sectors or together as one endeavor.

Modified the trek to make it easier to follow. Beautiful tour of pink a lake. Moderate and gradual incline to MacKenzie King Estate. Downhill wide trail back to trail 7. An 11k trek total. Nice Saturday afternoon stroll.

Buggy and views are just so-so.

long but nice hike, bring a wide brimmed hat or cap for sure for flies

Relatively easy hike with well groomed trails and a short portion along the road.. add in the look out along trail 28 for sure!!

Trail closed along the east side of the lake, presumably due to poison ivy along the trail.

Approx a 6km loop starting and finishing at P7 which took 2hrs in total. Reasonably well sign posted with a few ups and downs along the way.

We went over Easter weekend and it was quite snowy/icy still making it moderately difficult- we saw a couple other hikes who were all wearing snowshoes, so consider proper footwear/gaiters. The trail head marked on this map is very easy to miss and is off a very narrow street with NO parking. We started on the SE side of the trail, extending the loop by about 2 or 3K. The trail itself isn't marked very well so BRING A MAP! Other than that, it's a beautiful hike with spectacular forests. Pink lake is pretty small itself and you can easily tack on a quick lake loop with this hike. Picturesque and difficult in a good way.

great trail in wakefield! For a good workout!

My favourite hiking trail in the Ottawa area. Beautiful in the fall!

Just walked the first part of the trail from p17 (trail 53) - about 3.5 km in and then back - with my 7 year old. As I only did part of the route perhaps my 3-star rating is a bit low (I never got to Lac Philippe) Was mostly pleasant forest with gentle up-hills. The trail was quite wide and is under repair due to recent flooding. A decent amount of mountain bikers but they were always respectful.

Great view, especially in the fall.

Went midday during Fall Rhapsody and it was pretty busy but less so on the actual Skyline loop. There are two fairly decent sized free parking lots at the base and many other connecting trails all around.

Nice trail for day hiking. We parked at Parking 7 and hiked the loop, plus continued to Keogan shelter which was a nice surprise. There are several intersections and we met a family got lost as we ended our 4 hour hike back at Parking 7.
