Very nice hiking sneakers but I recommend boots. The kids were really great! Still difficult especially because of the big rocks on the south side.

Very nice hike of moderate level. The view at the top is breathtaking! We are beginner level and it took us 3h30 to go back and forth.

The trail is good til the chutes de diable. After that there’s a lot of snow. Its tricky because its already melting and very soft! Was a lot of sliding and postholing! After the falls you will need crampons! Makes it easier. I give it 4 stars, i wanted to do mont albert but that one was closed. So still a nice view over the valley, mount albert, lac du diable!

Amazing

Beautiful landscapes as much summer as winter. Very nice winter snowshoe hike between the Mont Albert campsite and the Serpentine refuge.

For a first hike, it was not easy! But it has been an amazing experience, every effort is worth it to the top

Nice hike, we saw caribou for a split second and they were gone. You have to take the shuttle bus to the trailhead. The trail is open for a limited time during day, it's a caribou protected area.

Nice trail for snowshoeing with kids. The trail is only about 3 km both ways, not 6 km as indicated in the description. Easy to access the trail from the Gite du Mont-Albert. Lot of snow. Not much people.

Unbelievable

Great trails ,wonderful experience. If you are lucky you will see caribou on the plateau of Mt. Albert.

Nice easy trail for a family even with small kids. Watch out for moose! most likey you'll encounter some very close to the trail.

amazing hike. Start early to have enough time to enjoy the scenery. I started mid day, I had to rush back down to make daylight.

Beautiful hike!!!! Make sure you are prepared for various terrain (i.e. hiking boots are strongly recommended) and give yourself lots of time (i.e. start early in the day).

We saw 7 moose and 1 caribou. The view from the top was breath taking. Perfect hike for family!

Done in 2016. Amazing experience, the shift in landscape and the agitated weather right before reaching the summit made it an unforgettable hike!
