Great trails. We went begining of January and the trails were very icy. Lots to see, train underpass was a big hit. Trails are unmarked so screenshot this map before heading out. Parking is free. 4/5 would walk here again.

Love that area. As today Oct 28th,2018, trails are covered of leafs hiding muddy spots along the trails. Obstacles are somewhat slippery be careful if you plan to ride ur mountain bike.

Beautiful area BUT. Should not be rated easy if you're on a bike. Pros will love it, but this trail has many walk-your-bike sections. No trail markers and dozens of side trails... easy to get turned around or outright lost. Lots of logs you have to hop over, plenty of sandy sections to big down in. Again a beautiful spot, but not easy.

Loved this trail and will be returning! Great views for pictures and trails are easy enough for the kids!

We went a few weeks ago and it’s gorgeous! Will definitely be returning many times :)

Tons of beautiful trilliums this time of year!

Wide open sandy trail that’s easy walking except for the huge puddles and down trees but that’s probably due to last night’s wind storm. Nice forest scenery but a little too much like an ATV trail for me. Bring rubber boots and splash around! A nice beautiful sunny day makes any trail worth the time! A decent outing.

Agree with others it’s a great short hike. Loved the view from the top of the uphill. Some great trees especially two gnarled old wise trees on the right of the trail near the end of the loop. The trailhead is actually at the sign for 3337 12th line. Park on the roadside and away you go. Loved it but left me feeling it was too short. Wanted at least another km more when we reached the end. Nevertheless very very lovely!

Nice little trail that unofficially connects to another nearby trail. Be respectful of the trail and others property lines and you should have no problem.

this is a much smaller tract then you'd think by walking through it. this tract actually ends at a spot where the trail crosses over a fence that's been knocked down. most folks step over the fence line and keep walking. this is the point at which you'd also start to notice small piles of household debris dumped in the forest. they are usually pretty clandestine, but it is sad, regardless. the trail is a pretty well known one locally and well traveled. generally, dogs here are off leash. if you have a problem with that, this isn't the trail for you. I've never seen anyone doing anything but walk their dog or take photos (scenic background) here. it would be great for a beginner's trail run as it is pretty flat. if you go past the fence line, then use a mapping programme like all trails record function to mark your turns (or you could end up wandering for quite some time)!

the trail starts away from the naming sign ( continue down 12th line to the green sign for 3332 12th line). initially, there is an uphill slog that makes you wonder about terrain, but you must come down gradually as you make the loop. to the left is the well traversed uphill where you will eventually ramble below a few fallen trees. nothing crazy, but you need to be reasonably mobile. there are a few fallen trees to the right from the entrance loop (or off the finish if you go left). I got lucky and was mostly able to follow a snowmobile/Nordic ski track. it was just near the finish where a large tree had fallen that I lost track of other's tracks. if you're headed here soon take long snow pants as the snow is deep (especially where it hasn't been trodden over). fabulous trail with beautiful tall pine. at the top of the initial climb there is a great view to both left and right where the terrain drops away.

Not overly scenic. It is a quarry after all. Lots of loose sand so not easy on the ankles. Overall OK but there are much nicer trails nearby.
