The starting point on the map is wrong. Lots of rocks and ups and downs but well worth the hike. Standing water on lower parts buy able to get around without much difficult. Standing water due to lots of rain over last several days and the bugs where not to bad I was surprised but we had pants on.

Always loved this trail. The trail needs to be cleaned up a bit couple trees on the path but it's still good.

Bug jackets and long pants were essential (July 2nd). Mosquitos like a biblical plague. Several parts of the trail underwater. Still...beautiful loop with gorgeous views of the lakes.

Great trail. Great for dogs and groups. Going for sunset on the lake is incredibly beautiful. Have seen lots of wildlife here, including porcupines!
