We live fairly close to this trail and use it frequently to get a few hours of good solid exercise. A good place to walk dogs (supposed to be on leash.) It is in the forest, so no good views, but still a nice outing. well maintained and not challenging but you have to watch out for tree roots. Also used by mountain bikers

A nice shady forest to look at. Saw a number of birds along the way and flowers in the more open areas. Very enjoyable walk. Come prepare there are bugs so put on spray before you walk. Parking $3 per hour or $6 all day

Used this trail for the first time yesterday! Love the variety. Long or short. Woody with lots of shade! $3 parking. Short drive from Oshawa. Perfect for an afternoon walk.

Tried the White Tail Deer trail today. It is about a 2km walk from the parking lot to the east of the other trails. It was worth the trek to the trailhead. The trail winds through dense forest with a carpet of trilliums. Only did the north loop since the weather was not great. Was a nice hike and still no bugs

Well drained trail. Even after raining all morning, trail in great shape. Lots of wildflowers and birds. Outhouse at the trailhead well cared for.

A beautiful day on the trail today. Conditions were dry and so many trilliums in bloom. A great trail with some hills that make it interesting. Also did the Cottontail rabbit trail which is not listed on this app. It is an easy walk good for a beginner. Loads of trilliums there too.

Really enjoyed this hike. Thick forest with nice foliage. Wide enough path for two people. One of my favourites

Headed out on my favorite trail at Long Sault 2 days ago in search of trilliums. Lots of red and white blooms about mid trail as well as some other spring blooms. I love the challenge of the climb to the top of the ridge. Good way to spend a nice spring morning.

Great trail but be alert... we stayed on the trail at all times and I noticed after we got home that my knee was hurting... I found a tick in my knee.
