it's essentially a booze, weed and bbq area at this point. If you're looking for a nice walk look elsewhere.

This is a completely paved trail that is best for bikes. There are no dirt or natural paths anywhere along the route. if that's your preference, it's a great one to try. if like me, you were looking for a dirt path, this is not the one. The scene was very industrial at Keele with the hum of hydro machines and the hydro lines. Might as well be walking on the sidewalk somewhere. The hidden trail in GRoss Lord Park was the best part where there were bridges over rivers. Got on at Keele and walked east. You can find an entrance walking North one block from Finch West station. When you finish at Steeles and Dufferin you can't easily J-walk across Steeles to continue the trail because of traffic. Would not go again.

I am usually running, love it very much

I’ve been going to this “trail” for years, and yes it can be a pretty walk during the week at an off time when the weather isn’t perfect... but the weekends, especially on a nice day, has it packed with people walking and cyclists rushing by. I was just there Sunday, May 5th, 2019 and you had to constantly dodge people to get around. I saw a cyclist actually bump into a pedestrian and not even glance back. Note to cyclists: just because you ring your bell doesn’t mean people have to immediately jump out of your way - it’s to warn people you are approaching and you should do your best to find a safe path around them, especially on such a busy path. Because of all this traffic, it’s quite noisy. As well, halfway through the trail it was completely flooded and you had to double back or walk through almost ankle deep water for a good stretch.

hiked this trail several times on my way to work about 10 years ago and loved it. I just finished hiking and it has completly changed. In my opinion they have ruined it. it appears to be suseptal to massive flooding, it always did flood in the spring with ankle deep water, but now I notice the park benches were completely caked in mud even the hand rail on the bridges were mud covered most of the trees are dead from being water logged
