This, less frequented. section of trail in Thomas Howe Forest is a rough and muddy, but scenic trail that loops along Gander lake and back along a old logging road. There are many spots to stop and take in the view of Gander Lake, Newfoundland's third largest lake. Their is evidence from old plane crashes in the area. It took about 2 hours to walk the entire loop with 2 small children slowing us down.
Its a nice hike if you are looking for something a bit be challenging than the main trails in Thomas Howe

Very easy trail and you never meet anyone on it even if there’s a crowd there

A easy trail. However it was enjoyable.
