An easy picturesque trail that’s great for a stroll through nature with babbling brooks and waterfalls.

Good for short trail run. Start left for longer downhill but steeper uphill. Start right for longer uphill with steeper downhill. Feels a little remote, suggest if running alone, to go in the middle of the day as appose to evening or morning runs .

We hiked in on Laverty and back out on Moosehorn in June. It was rather warm that day. The hike down on Laverty was no problem, but the hike back up on Moosehorn and rather difficult. Many bugs as well. We would not recommend this for anyone carrying a child in a carrier or otherwise. We also had some issues staying on the trail as it was not marked well. Alltrails map helped keep us on track.

great trail. took about 3.5hours with breaks and enjoying the falls.

Whitetail and Tippen lot North sections are well groomed as they are used for both hiking and biking. The Tippen lot south section is a challenging climb and descent to the intersection with the Coastal trail. This section is suitable for hiking only. The section of the Coastal trail that completes the loop is moderately difficult and is only suitable for hiking.

Great trail! Steady decline most of the way down, which made for a nice gradual incline on the way up. Did with a non-hiker who did not find it overly challenging. The falls itself is really pretty and the top of the waterfall was fun to explore

Great hike when linked with Moosehorn, well worth the effort.

Nice trail with some scrambling over rocks when trail hits the river bed - not hard to follow / or find the trail though. Did this combined with laverty falls for a good hike. A few good spots to swim if its hot enough too. Total time was just under 3hrs, with an actual hike time was 2hrs and 5mins as we did lots of sightseeing and picture taking.

Great trail with beautiful waterfall and swimming hole at the end. Last 500m to the waterfall is steep with a stream crossing. Well worth the effort and one of my favourite Fundy NP hikes.

Beautiful trail. Lots of wildflowers and wooded canopy.

Gorgeous and strenuous. Have done this one several times in both directions and the hill ascents going west to east are steeper than the other way. Recommend 3-4 days depending on where you plan to start and finish. Strongly recommend buying the guide booklet. Recommend spending one night in Little Salmon River and doing the side trail to Walton Glen Gorge / Eye of the Needle. Avoid camping at Martin Head especially on weekends as it's a bit of a local party spot.

Great hike for kids. My daughter counted 7 frogs in the bog so that was her favourite part.

Stunning views of the gorge. I found it to he quite a challenging hike, especially with all of the stairs and uphill climbs, but for more experienced hikers I can see how it could be rated easy. It's a cool trail that combines forest, bog and valley cliffs. In the fall, I imagine it would be even more beautiful than it was this summer.

Our family (2 adults, children 6 and 9 and dog) went in the Laverty trail and hiked back out Moosehorn! It was a great hike!!! Very scenic!!! Loved the Laverty waterfall! Alot of nice swimming holes along the way! And other waterfalls that aren't mentioned!!

One of my favourite trails in Fundy. Love the part where you follow the river to the primitive camping area.

hiked in through moosehorn and out through laverty. It was a great hike with no bugs! took about 3 hours plus stopped and swam at the falls for a bit

so worth the hike in. these falls are beautiful

absolutely beautiful and worth the walk.

Low tide is worth it! wear comfortable shoes and walk along the ocean floor

Beautiful! Easy trail with a waterfall as your destination!

Beautiful falls, but the hike itself is not very scenic compared to other hikes in the park. There's a steady decline as you hike down, making the hike back slightly strenuous, especially if it's hot. The end of the hike will bring you to the top of the waterfall. Continue the trail to the right to make your way down to the bottom where you can swim. We went on a day when it was 84 and were very thankful for the swimming hole at the end. Wish we had more time to do Moosehorn as well like others suggested.

Easy, beautiful hike. One of the most popular trails we did in the park. It's very easy and is a great family hike. Relatively quick, but we stopped every two seconds to take photos and to take in the sites, making it last about 30-45 min. The vibrant green moss and the waterfalls are beautiful. Reminded us a lot of Watkins Glen in NY.

Really enjoyed this hike, markings could be a bit better but over all not bad. First time doing it and I was by myself and I was able to find my way fine. Quite muddy in a few spots but didn’t really bother me too much.

Absolutely loved this trail, it’s just challenging enough for it to be enjoyable and the views of the river are amazing! Definitely one of my favourites in the park

Not very challenging for regular hikers but very amazing views of the bay!

Beautiful trail and waterfalls! Definitely worth hiking!
