It was an easy hike...not many spots to stop and enjoy a view.

I went with my grade twelve classmates and it was so beautiful and so scenic! Loved it so much! Would definitely recommend good footwear lots of steep hills and slopes. So worth it though!

A 4km loop trail with an option for a turnoff to do a shorter 2km loop. An enjoyable, easy trail for families with Kinasao lake as a scenic destination. Minimal undulation and drier than the nearby arrowhead trail. Approximately a 1 hour investment at a medium pace with young children.

Little muddy all the way along, beautiful lake views, uneven terrain

We biked the trail and went through to the owl junction to the cabin and back (extra 10km). lots of bumps and roots makes it seem alot harder than it is but great exercise!

Great trail conditions. We will give that another hike in the future. Bench on the lake was a nice touch❗

very nice hike, we started at the top and made our way down, still a bit of hiking up hill so you arent always going downhill. some pretty steep climbs and steep steps downhill so good footwear is definitely recommended; we saw a few fresh bear droppings but no bears. great views!

The Gorge is a gorgeous hike! Took 2 of us 2:40hr top to bottom then bottom to top in a rain storm which was invigorating :) I forgot how many stairs there were... lots, I won’t forget now. Awesome workout, gorgeous views. This still remains one of my favorites in RMNP. Hope to trail run next time! Ps this was 3 wks ago.

It’s a nice easy going trail with a great view of Clear Lake!!

Had a wonderful time biking with our family! The best was the surprise of the canoe at the lake! Thank you!

Wet trail, muddy in some parts due to rain so trail was slick. Very scenic, moderately easy hike.

Trail is currently closed due to high bear activity!

This is probably my favourite trail in this park. It has a lot of ups and downs and some scenic overlooks as well. I have started stashing my bike in the bushes close to the washroom near the top of the trail and hiking up and biking down on the road. An hour up and ten minutes down.

so beautiful and quite, a quick little canoe around the lake made the whole day so much fun :D

Nice hike but LOTS of poison ivy. Be prepared.

If you’re following the official park route you will end up at a much different ending then this trail shows on here. We were planning on doing the BaldHill route and then skipping over to the GorgeCreek route for the way back. This AllTrails trail takes some detour somewhere. Some reception during the trail but not where we supposed the detour was to happen. The trail is pretty challenging going WEBO. Note: if you take the official trail, do not try to cut through the farmer’s field back to the park entrance. You will be bushwacking for about 3/4 of a mile. Not worth it.

Great Lake loop! Ran into some bears as well!
Great changes in trail conditions, mostly dry, however does have some muddy spots. Try it out

In winter with new fresh snow this trail is gorgeous!

I did the full loop in winter time. No mud, fresh snow. Enjoyed a lot the entire trail. There were moose footprints along the trail.

I have done this trail multiple times. Excellent changes of scenery with all the elevation changes and there are ropes and steps to help climb back up from the bottom of the trail where the creek is. On the south side you can park and connect with the trails via the North Escarpment or connect onto the Reeves ravine trail from the east trailhead parking area. Currently , late September, is the best time of year to do this trail with leaves falling and nice comfortable temps. You do lose cell service totally in the middle parts of the trail but strangely enough you get a four bar signal at the trailhead.

I recently did the scenic Reeve's ravine, Gorge creek , Bald hill loop of 21 KM. Breathtaking early fall scenery and the falling foliage opens up the trails especially Gorge creek this time of year. Excellent workout and much more scenery than one would expect in the middle of the prairies.
