It was closed, and very grown over.

This trail begins and ends in the Black's Point Beach Parking lot. Originally, it consisted of a 2km loop with interpretive bulletins posted along the way. Recently, (2018) a new loop was cut near the trailhead, nearly tripling the trail length. This new loop rejoins the original trail just down stream of its origin. You have the option of turning left to add to your hike or continuing straight on the original trail. There are several side trails giving hikers access to most intersections in the Black's point Subdivision, if they prefer.

This trail features a beaver pond near to the trailhead, then moves out to a second, more remote pond deeper in the bush. Beyond the first pond, the trail is less maintained and tends to fade in and out as you hike. A nice hike despite that.

This easy trail around Gull Harbour goes through a wooded area, past the beach, and up a narrow spit of land to the lighthouse. Interpretive panels at the lighthouse describe the history of the site. There are fantastic views of the harbour and of the open lake, with lots of opportunities for bird viewing at the lagoon and along the trail.

This trail was unkept but still worth the adventure. It was difficult to know where the trail was. Lots of long grass and marsh. There were also signs of wolves near by. The scenery all looked the same but connected to other trails that had cool bridges and look out points.
