Lots of mosquitos in the bush but saw a deer and a groundhog.

Very peaceful trail. It was cool biking through the shade of the forest canopy. Didn't encounter any bugs except for one wood tick. Probably wouldn't have got that if trail was better maintained. Trail is in good enough condition that a small tractor should be able to mow the 3 foot high grass surrounding trail.

Great trail, nice and easy. Nice scenery.

Great trail. Took me 45 minutes. Mosquitoes weren’t too bad if you just keep moving.

Few deer sightings. Lots of mosquitos so prepare for that. Trail is well taken cared of!

A good trail for kids, I took my 4 year old on it and he had a good time. Not difficult at all and the lookout is a nice spot. Lots of mosquitoes though, even with using lots of bug spray they were all over us.

An easy trail to hike. I spotted a deer on the trail. The mosquitoes were not bad around noon. I enjoyed the tower, some great views of the surrounding area.

So many mosquitoes! Even with Off we got eaten alive. It is an easy path, good for kids but we were pretty bored. We didn’t see any wildlife except mosquitoes and ants and my kids were not impressed. The lookout tower is cool and the only highlight of the trail.

MOSQUITO HELL! So many bugs even with bug spray. Trail itself is not bad, pretty easy but was muddy in some parts.

Great trail for kids. Part of the trail was closed because of heavy rain several days ago, so we used the short path. Bring bug spray, there was a lot mosquitos under the tree canopy.

A great trail if there has been rain recently as it is fully paved. Nice to see different ecosystems. There are also slight hills to it. I will have to do it again with my bike.

This was a great trail through the forest but it had just rained so it was a little flooded and extremely muddy in some places, took some manoeuvring to get through it but was still a great hike.

Very busy, although to be expected on a Sunday afternoon. Main trail is paved, some of the side trails were a bit wet and muddy but not impassable. You can connect to the Aspen trails on the other side of North Drive but we had to cut through the bush to avoid backtracking or continuing on and extending the hike.

Pretty disappointing to be honest. There is zero variety in the landscape, which made for a boring hike. We picked this trail to accommodate a friend who never hiked before, and because we expected most trails to be muddy after the rain, but this hike was too easy and flat. It was literally just a walk in the park, albeit a long one. The weather was frisky so there were no bugs or mosquitoes. Lots of friendly bikers and fellow hikers. Overall, this trail might be much more enjoyable for biking, but as a hiking trail, I wouldn't really recommend it.

Super easy trail. Started the trail at around 9am and was surprised with how busy it was already. Expect quite a few bikers, but trail is wide enough for everyone. Wouldn't recommend this for experienced hikers, not scenic or challenging. Good for families with young kids.

Great trail, dry throughout. Did the full 12+ on bike. Beautiful scenery. Great for beginners or intermediate

Easy family hike on mainly grass terrain and then a cement path. Only downfall is the first half of the hike is along the hydro lines. Still beautiful tree scenery.
