Quiet trail with gorgeous views. Challenging because of the incline and climbing aspects. Well marked and walked on, not sure how other people got lost. The "top" is very anticlimactic, we huffed up a hill to find a spot to eat lunch in the brush before descending the logging road. Perhaps would have taken the trail back but was concerned our dog would have a hard time going down the steep stuff. Road is long- bring lots of water!

Nice hike with very little traffic. We showed up at noon on a Sunday and only saw 3 or 4 cars parked at the trailhead, which is a nice change from some of the trails closer to Squamish. Nothing too difficult - a few ropes and chains to help in places which may intimidate new hikers. Trail was easy to find and follow. We took the logging road back down which was a bit of a slog but the entire loop only took 3 hours so works well for a morning or afternoon hike. Views aren't the best you can find in the area but still pretty and worth checking out.

The hike up is good fun with some nice views looking down the valley and a few sections of trail which might be harrowing for the easily intimidated. A tree has come down at a junction that makes it easy to come up short and not do the full trail. If you come to the FSR and didn't have to navigate a big rock field you took a fork and cut out a chunk of the trail. Once you do get to the top it is a bit of a drag hiking back down along the FSR. If it is a hot day make sure you've got some water because it is open and dusty on a scorcher.
