This trail is interesting and has mostly small elevation changes as it follows the Adams River upstream from the parking lot. The Adams River is one of the most important Salmon spawning rivers in BC. These fish fight their way upriver from Vancouver (Fraser River) in a spectacular effort that ends here after spawning every late September/October.

Easy trail with really friendly park rangers. During salmon season, be aware that there are bears in the area (you'll see a lot of scat). In October, on dominant salmon run years, it's a great place to hike and view spawning salmon (and take photos). The Adams River Salmon Society even gives some talks at the park.
