Stunning walk along the beach! My dog and I walked it back in March of this year. It's so big it felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves!

Very muddy! So wear boots! But not much of an incline, and has a very straightforward path! Rain or shine, it’s a nice hike

Probably lovely on a sunny day. Not so much in the pounding rain. Vast expanse for power walking!

MUDDY!!! But definitely moderate, plane site is really neat.

Beautiful white sandy beach. Try to walk on low tide, with lots of time until the tide rises. Dress for the weather. Waterproof footware. Some toilets but pack a snack

Short hike threw the forest . Lots of fun facts to strengthen the brain!!

Nice little walk in the trees!

Wonderful boardwalk through the Temperate Rainforest! Highly recommend!

Very easy. The full trail is a board-walk, and it is absolutely stunning. Could be slippery after rainfall.

Great trail if your looking for a quick easy walk with an awesome reward. Wife and I walked this end of November. Was cold but cloudless. Easy walk side by side well groomed trail to the top of the beach. Took the boardwalk and stairs down to half moon bay. 211 stairs steep. Some enormous ancient cedars. 4-1/2kms in just over 2 hours ( a good 1/2 hour in the beach) recommend to do after lunch that way you’ll get the sun, early morning beach is shaded. Would definitely do this hike again.

Trail was officially “closed” due to heavy machinery working at the trailhead. We found our way in and enjoyed the hike. Easy hike & a cool spot to enjoy, the boardwalks are awesome we didn’t get muddy.

Trail is closed for construction.

A must do when you are in Pacific Rim NP. Most beautiful boardwalks we’ve ever done!

First time visiting the spot - i couldn’t imagine doing this walk before the new boardwalks were put down, they make it accessible without being knee deep in mud. Still muddy in spots but it’s easily doable. I would say this hike is (approx) 10 minutes along the highway from the parking lot, 10 minutes on a nice easy trail, 10 minutes after the creepy abandoned radio tower building is the worst part (mud and roots) and then the last 10 minutes to the plane is along the new boardwalks. Walking up close & around the plane was a bit of a challenge (more mud, more roots etc).

Trail is re-open. Muddy but easily accessible
