Beautiful

Short, easy trial with different landscapes and interest trees.

Boards were frosty and slick on a December afternoon, even though it was fairly warm and sunny. Very interesting place but no educational signage or pamphlets. I wouldn't recommend this as wheelchair accessible as some of the boards are broken and the boardwalk is uneven in places.

Short trail with a steep hill down to the beach through a sitka spruce forest. From the beach you can continue to explore Pacific Rim National Park's fantastic beaches

Relative to other trails/walks in Pacific Rim National Park, this trail is not as exciting, the beaches you visit are nice and secluded though (Kwistis and South Beach). The South beach trail itself only goes as far as it's namesake beach the connecting trail to Florencia Bay is actually the Nuu-Chah Nulth trail.

Very nice short trail. Interesting landscape, like walking through a Dr. Seuss book.

It was a good trail through a forest with lots of shades of green then opens up to a great coast beach with good sized waves!

Easy trail, all of which is structured by wood trail sections and stairs marked every 100 meters with an oval metal marker giving you the distance travelled from the parking lot. The beach is similar to other area beaches. When I arrived we could smell a fishy odour that we could not attribute to anything we could recognize. On the beach you walk along a First Nation community houses. On the beach we observed litterings of plastic bottle caps and other small items most likely left by visitors of the area. Shame! Please don't litter and take back what you brought along. The hike is pleasant and I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

The Kwisitis visitor center and Wickanish beach are in this area. The visitor center has many informative exhibits and clean restrooms. Parking costs about 20 cad for a family. The beach is great for a walk and you can see ball seaweed washed up on the beach.

located in pacific rim park it is a short 2 km round trip but well worth it. it has amazing forest scenary and takes you over low lying creeks. watch out it yas a faur amount of stairs but its easy. when you get to the beach the view and cove is amazing and a popular beach spot
