Nice short 2 loops. The only problem is you would have to cross the main road to tackle the other loop of trail.

A quintessential stop for families.

Went by myself and only saw other two people. So I’d say it has not heavy traffic. Lots of spider webs I cleaned with my hands. The first part up to the train tracks was really steep and challenging, lots of dry dirt making it really hard for my shoes to grip. Then a second part equally as hard, there’s some rope to help a couple of points. The third part is a forest service road, no shade. The last part is easier and shaded. Some interesting scrambling all the way to the top. I’d recommend to wear good hiking shoes, hiking poles would come in handy too specially for the descent. Loved the hike, the view is amazing. Would absolutely do it again.

Nice trail but quite steep. I would rather rate this trail as hard. Hiking poles are recommended.

Super day to walk the trails. Busy in spots like at the base of the oldest tree. Immaculately maintained and everyone respected the no garbage in rules. Spent about 90 minutes there with plenty of time to pause and take pictures. Lots of European tour groups going through. Makes me feel extra proud as a Canadian that we are so fortunate to have a preserve like this to enjoy and share with others!

Easy walk along the lakes lined with a few cottages with some points of view. Once arrived at the end of the path go straight left to find the railway. A rope is made available to facilitate the passage. Plan for good shoes for this slippery ride, especially when going downhill. The view is superb with the railroad overlooking the lake.

The first km or so is some of the hardest hiking possible. It is brutally steep and, aside from the odd rope, offers little assistance to help with the gradient. It is absolutely not for inexperienced hikers. The second third is up a dirt road - and easy enough, although I did see snakes on the road. The final third is more of a normal hike through the cover of trees. It is steep and rocky in places but not too hard. I got up in 1hr 06 from the road by the lake. The descent, especially the final third, is very hard. If you have poles, it will offer some help in the slip-slide. Good views and a worthwhile achievement in getting to the summit.

Not so much a trail as a private road that says 'closed' and 'park ends, private residents only'.

This trail is incorrectly categorized as Moderate. It is extremely steep grade with higher elevation than Grouse Grind but without the stairs built into the trail. So what you get is loose dirt with a few rocks and roots to grip. This results in a very unstable, steep trail with steep cliffs and ravines below you. Quarry Rock trail is also categorized as Moderate and this is WAY harder, steeper and more dangerous especially if you are unprepared and are lacking the correct gear.

Nice scenic walk like people said. Very quiet and cool cottages. Heads up don't believe the pictures on the trestles. You can't make it onto the trestles via this trail.
