In pretty good condition, a little muddy and flooded in some parts.

Nice hike, but I suggest you stop at the first point of view, which is nice! Because after there is nothing more than a U-turn in the forest!

Not worth the effort you put in. The true Peak is long overgrown and you can’t see out at all. It’s covered by trees. The ‘new’ view about 2km before it is mediocre at best. Only do this one in the shoulder season. So many better trails in the North Shore mountains. Try Mt. Brunswick instead!

Hiked from Grouse to the Crown/Goat junction above Crown Pass. First snow has hit this popular trail. The abundant mud is also frozen in places. Roots are particularly slimy and slippery right now. With *careful* footing, hiking boots are fine, but soon more winter-appropriate footwear and traction will be necessary! - 10/23/2019

We started from the parking area and started with the Lynn Loop followed by Headwater trail to Norvan Falls. This added some distance to our hike. Kids loved the suspension bridge and scrambling near the Falls. Full trip including breaks and lunch was just shy of 6 hours for us.

We enjoyed this trail due to the changing terrain conditions. One minute you are walking along a rocky dried up creek bed and then its a trail full of roots or packed dirt. It is hilly most of the way up with some switchbacks, gentle inclines and a few flat areas. However, it's a climb and gives you a great cardio workout. The view from the Lynn Peak viewpoint is lovely but only on a clear day. If there is any cloud you may be out of luck. On the way back down you have to be careful where you step, one mis-step on a loose rock could result in a bad injury. I'm giving this a 5-star as I had a great experience and loved the challenge of the hike.

Lynn Peak is a great hike. I enjoyed it far more than I expected to. It’s an intense workout. I get far more worked by this hike than I do by hikes twice as high out in Manning Park or Chilliwack Valley. Decent cell signal the entire way so if you need to stay connected this hike offers that.

First 3/4 is pretty boring and flat - great for trail running though. Waterfall is a reasonable destination. I took a bit longer route and added some distance on the way back. Lots of side tracks to entertain. Intermediate rating

Was actually about 240 meters of elevation. Definitely the counterclockwise route was preferred for me. Glad I saw that suggestion. Beautiful trail. Enough uphill areas that I felt like I had a decent workout.

Fantastic dog walking route. Some people trail running it. Not the easiest. Lots of shade. An all round great summer walk

Went counterclockwise based on reviews and I appreciated the advice. I’m going to do it again clockwise for comparison (and it’s an awesome hike). It was so hot yesterday, the water was such a refreshing welcome wend reward getting out of the forest going counter clockwise. Shout out to the grape eating ladies. We want to join your 50+ women’s hiking gang some day!

We walked from the 210 stop all the way up to Lynn Peak and back. First quarter or so of the trail is ALL rocks. Really hard on the ankles and worse going down. The rest of it is relatively pleasant until you hit the lookout point - a large rock outlet with a clear, gorgeous view of most of the lower mainland. This is just before the south peak. Amazing place to sit! After that, go home. The trail across the peaks is poorly kept - fallen trees everywhere, makes for a really technical climb. There's nothing at the top for views - just the satisfaction of climbing a mountain. If you do go across the peaks it's good exercise and good practice, but not worth it if you're just climbing for fun. The lookout is still worth the trek though! Have fun!

A difficult climb on a poorly designed trail with a mediocre view shared by a throng of people. Not the best the North Shore has to offer.

the riverbed part is especially hard coming down from the very worthwhile look out that fuse the Ironworkers Memorial Bridge all the way to the Port Mann Bridge. very few mosquitoes bite worthwhile bringing insect repellent. was supposed to take four and a half hours and it did

Was going to just do the Lower Lynn Loop trail but decided to continue onto the Headwaters trail until the Third Debris Chute before turning back. Unfortunately my phone died so the recording was messed up. Anyways the trail is pretty rocky and we went on a rainy day so if you also go on a wet day, be careful of slipping or turning an ankle. Lots of tree roots and logs that become slippery! I gave this hike a 4/5 because there’s no amazing view at the top/end point (but I mean what do I expect...amazing views come with steep elevations haha). Well it was a great workout hike nonetheless! I’d do it again someday.

This is a great trail. Very well maintained and easy to navigate. Nice variety of terrain. Not the most spectacular views, but great trail. 1:25 round trip.

Very enjoyable hike! Really easy and quite flat but nice scenery. No signs of any bears, bugs were not bad, went relatively early in the morning, only saw a couple other people out. Nicely maintained trail!

First section is steep and rocky - hiking through creek bed. View points are very average. Great workout though. Hiking shoes/boots are best.
