Pretty easy hike. Some elevation but switchbacks make the climb less challenging. Took us 35 to get to the top. Did it as a sunrise hike so parked the car at 4:30am and we were at the top by 5:05am.

A lovely easy going hike, wide trail with beautiful views of Okanagan Lake. We did an out and back by the lake not the loop. The Crowne Viewpoint area has stunning views of both Kelowna and the lake Several nice swimming areas at the end of the trail Like us on Facebook “Apackof2 for the Road” Follow our adventures on Twitter Apackof2fortheRd @apackof2fortherd

I asked many people in and around Kelowna for a nice hike and I heard Knox Mountain coming up a lot, so I gave it a try! However, I would argue that it is a bit more of a nature walk than a hike. You get a nice view of the Okanagan Lake at the top. Although, the trails are very busy with walkers, runners, dog walkers and bikers - so it is not the best place to enjoy a quiet day in nature away from other people.

Excellent trail for the little ones - took us about 45 min each way, be prepared to stop for a rest; kids(3 and 4) were fully prepared and equipped for the hike, sun, and dip in the water. I'd limit what to bring to the bare essentials (we took everything but the kitchen sink lol)

Started from second parking lot and moderate hike to top lookout and down to Paul's Tomb and a relaxiv swim / picnic. Easy hike back to car.

Great hike - short and steep. Not difficult - I wore running shoes. Just over 5km to the top and back

I'm not in peak condition but I was able to do this almost non-stop (except stopping for pictures) and I survived, although quite sweaty. A nice little hike.

Great hike! views are gorgeous!

Great hike with a good amount of climbing. Spectacular views!!

Great short hike with decent cardio. Nice views of Kelowna and Okanagan Lake.

Easy but steep maintained trail with nice views. Took the bike trail back which made it more difficult and enjoyable.

this trail was soooo good! the views are insane. there's some solid options for steeper incline throughout. my fav trail I've ever done!

Easy walk, with some uphill stretches. Heavily travelled, but with beautiful lake views.

Best mountain to explore. Hiking and mountain biking. Beautiful views of Okanagan lake. Lots of trails, from easy to moderate.

Beautiful view of the lake and just hard enough. You have little sheds on your way so you have shade and special view.

Loved this hike!! The whole experience was pretty, not just the summit. Flowers were all over the trail, birds could be heard and the lake could be seen during most of the hike. Wonderful !!!

beautiful little hike.

Quick little burn, great for a fast loop when you only have 30 minutes. Kids will enjoy and also hikers who don’t need the full mountain.

Well maintained trail up to a great view. A fair amount of foot traffic. Stairs and railings made it feel less naturey, but it was still a nice beautiful hike. Lots of flowers! It took us just over an hour to complete.

This trail is a fav of mine, great views looking north while you snake your way along the side of mountain just above okanagan lake. Once you reach the end of trail you will find yourself at Paul’s tomb. Cool little beach great for a quick swim or float on a hot sunny day. It can become quite busy at times but there is a lot of different areas to explore. If taking children consider the distance as it may take you 45 minutes each way for the kids. Enjoy

This trail has a mix of switchbacks and occasional stairways, winding up you take in excellent views looking south. Recommend to bring water and take lots of breaks if you are not used to hiking. There is one water station at the very top near the caretakers house. Washrooms are also located there.

convenient little escape from the hustle and bustle, don't even need a car to get there. don't expect wilderness by any means, but beautiful views nonetheless

very easy and scenic route for the whole family

great view and challenging climb. You can combine with Paul's Tomb if you're looking for a longer hike
