Once past the tunnel tourists we had the trail almost to ourselves. We passed the final tunnel then it's a gentle downhill all the way to Kettle Valley Road. A quick break then the return, a gentle uphill all the way back. A few decent views of the river but nothing spectacular.

Great stroll for the family. Lots of sights to look at some great tunnels and bridges to cross. Tunnels are long enough that it's gets really dark inside, but no need for a headlamp as the trail is well kept.

Super easy walk, great views and caves. Bring a headlamp for the caves if you go at dawn or dusk. Great bouldering problems around the area too

A great little walk. Definetly walk out to the caves and see the river, after that the rest of the trail isn't as magnificent.

Family friendly walk.
Beautiful path.

What a fabulous hike! Headed to the start of the Nicola Hope Trail, and unbeknownst to us, it led to the Othello Tunnels where we were originally headed, but couldn't find parking. It was a 10.6 km hike to and from our car along the river and in the forest. The tunnels were an amazing highlight for our 40th wedding anniversary day of adventure.
