Beautiful hike! The loop has some steeper sections at the beginning but down hill at the end. The final walk is all flat through the tunnels with the amazing river rushing below.

The walk was enjoyable and lots of friendly people. we do this walk yearly. highly recommended for a day getaway

Went the other day, the gates are locked until the 18th

A ‘lil jump of a fence and you’re in.
Gorgeous walk among the tunnels.
There are some small hikes around as well for the more adventurous. But bring proper footwear as it is very dry already making it kind of slippery.

Awesome trail. The police chase scene on the cliff in the movie "First Blood" was filmed here. The helicopter flew right through the canyon and Rambo gives the famous line, "I didn't do anything."

Good easy hike for the family. Today we went snowshoeing on the trail. The first 1.5 km had a trail set by someone else, but we pushed on after that and set a trail in the deep snow. Going down the hill was fun (in a good way) and breaking trail with snowshoes gave it a little more challenge.

Once past the tunnel tourists we had the trail almost to ourselves. We passed the final tunnel then it's a gentle downhill all the way to Kettle Valley Road. A quick break then the return, a gentle uphill all the way back. A few decent views of the river but nothing spectacular.

Great stroll for the family. Lots of sights to look at some great tunnels and bridges to cross. Tunnels are long enough that it's gets really dark inside, but no need for a headlamp as the trail is well kept.

Super easy walk, great views and caves. Bring a headlamp for the caves if you go at dawn or dusk. Great bouldering problems around the area too

A great little walk. Definetly walk out to the caves and see the river, after that the rest of the trail isn't as magnificent.

What a fabulous hike! Headed to the start of the Nicola Hope Trail, and unbeknownst to us, it led to the Othello Tunnels where we were originally headed, but couldn't find parking. It was a 10.6 km hike to and from our car along the river and in the forest. The tunnels were an amazing highlight for our 40th wedding anniversary day of adventure.

Short but great hike, great when you do not have much time, but still need to get your hiking in. Love Othello Tunnels, a must see!
