Great day on the trail. Trail is on greet condition with very little mud. It is a well marked trail. I had the kid on my back so it was a little slow going.

November 7, 2019 at 2pm: Nice solid hike, not too challenging but definitely a good workout. Good views of the lake, though it's probably nicer in the Spring/Summer. Wasn't busy at all with maybe 6-8 cars in the parking lot. FYI the gate closes at 4:30pm this time of year so don't head out there too late. Also did see a bear for the first time this year so always be alert.

This was an urban walk along the more unused trails that are more level then the regular trails.

Started at 1.20pm and ended at 4.30pm ish and that’s with breaks (20 mins lunch) in between. Saw about 20 people in total. Older hikers and dog owners too. There are areas where it’s complete silence with no one around and that’s much appreciated.

Loved the trail, kinda dangerous some places just watch your steps and you'll be fine : the view from the falls was to die : we hiked today ( Thursday Oct 10th 2019) aside from the four of us we didn't see anyone on the trail

Beautiful hike, low trafficked. Extremely muddy though

Great trail for someone who wants to get into hiking more. We did this at the beginning of fall season where it has rained quite a bit the week before. Quite wet in some spots but if you come prepared it is no problem. Super trail even in the fall.

Lots of slick sections now that autumn is here. Trail can be faint near Mt Beautiful so watch carefully for markers and you should have no problem. Did this clockwise on a cloudy day with not many views. I'll be back!

Dog friendly trail with some nice lake views. A bit of loose rock on the west side of the lake heading back. Front gates close at 7:30pm now.

Really liked this trail. It has more of a challenge doing the lake view loop in addition to just the buntzen lake loop. Trail does not have great views but the forest is beautiful and it was peaceful.

Really well maintained trails. Recommend to visit early if go on the weekend. Remember to bring extra set of clothes if u want to jump in the water after the hike !!

I’m mid forties and it took 3.5 hours up and 3 hours back down taking a clockwise route at a steady pace with a few breaks. This is a technical hike so definitely bring your boots and poles and emergency gear. I started early and saw 1 person at the top the whole way, pretty quiet.

Trail was maintained very well. Great scenery. The climb on the west side of the lake was at some points challenging but if you take your time to enjoy the views it’s a great hike. I’ll definitely do the loop again.

Overall the hike took around 8 hours; if there's snow or rain I can see it taking a couple hours longer. We went clockwise around, which made for a nicer descent; near the end, it also helps someone (or parks folks) did some trail maintenance on the latter half of the trail. We ran into some people going the opposite direction who saw a black bear, so its probably a good idea to bring a bear bell and/or bear spray. Overall great hike, will do it again.
