nice winter walk. not too busy.

I would agree that this trail is not all that "easy". You will need good shoes to tread over some rocks and inclines/declines near the end of the trail. Any age group can do it though, from kids to seniors. Took me 1 hour and 45 minutes both ways on a relaxed pace. Jug island beach is quite tiny but the view is worth the exercise.

Nice trail. Would not rate as easy at all. Maybe easy to the 2.5km mark. then certainly not after that.

Beautiful, tranquil lake. Just the right amount of people traffic on a chilly, fall day. The trail around the lake is well maintained, with very minimal stairs. The loops takes 40-50 minutes to complete on an easy pace. I would go back.

Nice easy trail. Different altitudes during the road. Beautiful scenery, nice people.

Great little hike for me and my dogs! Beautiful views!

Fun little hike. Had a couple challenging spots but well worth it once you get to the beach!

Watch my video on it!

Short hike with an iconic landmark at the end. There were folks stopped at the beach with their kayaks which made for nice photos.

Nicely maintained. Almost deserted on a rainy day. Wooden stairs in places with strips of wire mesh to prevent slipping when wet. Path has a portion of concrete walkway across the lake. The 1 hr posted at the start was a good estimate.

This hike was okay. It was more a walk than anything else. If you're going to do it, go all the way to Burns Point. Just where the heck does that door at Maple Beach go!? A nice laid back spot, we ended up going to White Pine Beach afterwards to cool down.

Short hike, very nice beach at the end good place for a swim. Dog friendly. Nice all year walk/hike

Nice walk picinic trail. not too busy, Great in winter

Great winter walk not a hike. too busy in summer spring is nice.

Great place to watch the sun set at the end of this trail. Very easy and a nice walk all year round

There was a trail, and a beach, and an island. Whoa!

Amazing views! Trilha bem tranquila
Nada de urso.

Easy hike with a few sections of stairs. Some good viewpoint spots along the way to jug island beach too! Once you get to the beach you can swim or just watch the kayakers.

Was definitely not an easy hike like they tell you. Great hike tho but definitely some tough sections

Beautiful walk/hike

A lovely hike. Some great elevation gains with magnificent views. Two separate bear sightings on the trail so be vigilant.

Great after work hike! And so beautiful!!

Like a little bit more challenging trails for myself but perfect to take kids aged 8-11. Saw a bear at picnic area but rangers were there for reassurance. Bears went the direction of the Admiralty point trail. Saw a bald eagle and a seal

Good with the kids, wish we’d had bathing suits for the lake at the end!

It is a nice trail, but I feel it is overrated.
It gets really busy on weekends and you don't see much until you get to the beach, which is nice, but that's it. Seems nice for kids.

Nice easy loop, but very busy on a nice weekend with lots of roudy picnickers

We selected this hike as it was a fairly easy trail to carry a picnic on. The trail itself was great - not difficult but still felt like a “hike” as opposed to a walk through the park. The trail is heavily trafficked compared to other hikes we’ve done which was a downside but less of an issue. The main disappointment was at the end: the view from the beach was great but unless you have a blanket, there isn’t really anywhere to sit. Glad we did it but likely wouldn’t do this trail again.

Nice and relaxing hike. Signage was very clear and the trails were really nicely maintained. Overall the hike was easy but as mentioned from others, some steep steps would make this a bit tough for the elderly

Best of all, at the end of the trail, you have great open view of the waters that is just opposite of the Sunshine Coast

The payoff to this hike is beautiful, the beach is lovely, and the trail itself not that crowded; however, start early, because the day area at the trail head loads up there's zero parking.

Maybe not an "easy walk"... some easy walk elements, but a decent amount of switchbacks, and natural/man-made stairs. recommend hiking boots for sure.
