Easy trail that's close to town but no breathtaking views. You can be in and out in about 2 hours, unless you decide to climb, if you keep a steady pace and spent only a short duration at the end.

Always reasonable parking, trailhead is easily found and great if you want to try a new trail that you haven't completed before. It's worth experiencing it and moving onto a more rewarding trail.

Amazing trail. It is very easy, you have to cross the river many times tho. It is fun and you can be back in 2 hours :) walk is still on the walley, so no beautiful views on mountains. Many people are climbing there..

There was no view and it was very unappealing towards the end.

on Stoneworks Canyon

Came at this from the Cougar Creek trail head. Stayed on the Montane traverse until Stoneworks creek and then turned up hill. Trail get washed out often. Canyon is narrow and dry during the summer. It is just a short stretch and then valley opens up again. You gain about 400m over the whole trip most of that on the Stoneworks creek portion going uphill to the canyon while the Montane Traverse is generally minimal rolling ups and downs. ((I suspect the major debris flow and floods of 2013 erased any trail along the creek.))
