Absolutely beautiful single track trails! Fairly gradual elevation gain and a real joy to run!

Great views. Well maintained trail. NOT difficult - I would rate this as EASY. It's a walk, really.

Great hike
I think it’s easier if you start to the left at the trail head, steeper climb but easier than walking down it!

By horseback this is a great trail, lots of changes in terrain and amazing views. We came across a few bikes, but it's a longer trip so often we're alone on the trails.

Great hike, but the Bragging Rights Trail is not well marked and was confusing to know where to loop back down.

Great hike for our 8 and 12 year old! Didn’t enjoy walking the service road to get to trailhead but found a path that meandered through trees on the way back.

Went during the week with my dog and it was a really great hike and not overly busy. Only saw bikers during the day and they were all very polite.
Dog was off leash for most of the walk which she really enjoyed.

This elevation gain is very gradual in both directions, made for an easy hike. tons of mountain bikers so you have to keep your ears open. There is some nice partial views but no real spot to sit and enjoy.

This was a nice brisk traverse, not steep but long inclines as well but as above so below. Long steady declines. Beautiful hike even took my 2 year old with me though not cranky but wanted alot of shoulder rides up hill. Yup an extra 40#'s on my shoulders made for a great workout.

Oh although about 50 cars in the lot, we never seen anybody on the trails. So peaceful. Definitely recommend if you'd like a moderate - brisk peaceful walk in beauty.

Trails are well marked.

Decent hike, agree with another reviewer that there’s no real peak to climb too but a nice hike nonetheless. We did it with three kids (4,6,7) with minimal difficulty. Lots of mountain bikers. Trails are very well marked.

I think this trail is great or meh depends on what you seek for. I love seeing flowers and nice views so it was not for me. There was no great scenic point, there was no “we arrived!!” achieved feeling. Trail is mostly shaded by trees and very nice clean paths, good signs and generally very pretty place but if you are looking for breathtaking moment like me, you can pass this trail. It is still great for hiking with dogs, trail run or mountain biking.

Busy with mountain bikes but riders were very courteous. Lots of inclines with mostly downhill on the descent.

Easy- long(ish) but could be done by almost anyone. There’s minor elevation gain, some rolling hills, it’s a little boggy in areas (so make sure you have water resistant shoes)- but a pretty hike for all abilities.

Great hike- the first half is a climb, for sure, but once you reach the summit, it’s a nice rolling downhill. Did it with three teens, 3 dogs and some old men (haha- they’re only 50 but have bad knees) We all agreed we’d happily do it again.
Lots off mountain bikers- 99.3% of them were super polite.

Great trail and followed advice to take White Tail for first section up which was quite easy going.. A really decent challenge for new MTBers and a great rest point at Merlin’s Chair..

Great loop! Nice and flowy! I do this once a week on a weekday morning (Zero crowds at this time). The trail is getting pretty rocky and rooted right now from people riding it in wet conditions. The downhill part of Merlin’s is in great condition. Took 1h10m with a few breaks.

I didn’t find the mountain bikes to be all that many. No problem for me to share the trail. Took strange brew/boundary ridge back which makes a nice loop. Ended up being 11km. Not strenuous, some switchbacks. Strange brew more of a rocky trail. Dog enjoyed it as well.

Park in North side of West Bragg Creek Parking lot on the most western side. Walk on service road starting at west side of parking lot. Walk for a km or so and come to a trail interesection that states Moose connector on sign posts on both right and left sides of path. GO RIGHT and it takes you right to Moose Meadow loop.

The entire hike and loop is about 7 km and is easy with some steep inclines. Saw 2 deer, lots of butterflies and birds. Very few other hikers or bikers. A few creeks and ponds that were pretty. Meadow was gorgeous. Good hike, but wouldn't be super interesting for kids.
We took left turn at moose connector interesection at beginning in error and added 7 more kms to the hike with lots of other small meadows. Was a nice addition to hike, but not as nice as the loop. Many signs, use them if you turn left first. Would go again!

Great trail. Took us 4 hours to complete with a 20
Minute stop for lunch. You have to pay attention on the backside of Merlin as the bikers come down quick so you’ll need to be ready to move.

We've taken telephone to both Snowshoe Hare and Hostel and found all to be good well marked moderate trails with beautiful scenery.
We have found going later in the day (on weekends) is better for our horses as there are fewer cyclists. (My horse is terrified of them as the first encounter with a cyclist here also included his labradoodle bounding out of the trees barking at us and bouncing wildly) - but all of the cyclists including that one have been extremely kindly in slowing down or stopping as we ask to pass safely. FYI Dogs are allowed off leash deeper into the trail.
There is a fair amount of traffic during the day (weekends) (but by no means, crowded) but everyone is very friendly and conscientious.

Pleasant hike. Not too steep so it's easy to keep a steady pace. Stayed at 'fat-burning' (heart rate) zone the entire time. Great workout. Took us 5.5 hrs from start to finish and that includes a 20-30 min snack break. We took Telephone Trail up and Long Distance trail down.

There are a few areas where you can look down at the valley. No marked look-out or spectacular views. But there's something about being in nature, surrounded by greenery that always does the heart some good.

Only saw one couple starting the hike as we finished; the rest were all mountain bikers. We went early and except for the few bikers that passed us as we started and ended our hike, we were mostly alone throughout.

Very busy trail but a fantastic Mountain biking loop.

I did this hike with my 14 and 15 yr old. It's a very very manageable hike with kids and some spots with nice rolling hills. Not too much climbing and some beautiful views towards Elbow once you do climb up a bit. We even ran into a bear about 10-15 feet off the track eating from some kind of bush! We had a bear bell jingling and were talking loud but there he was when we came around the corner. He didn't seem too concerned about us, foraged a bit longer, and then leisurely made his way the other way. We were glad we had bear spray and whistles, etc, even though we didn't need to use them.
The nice beginnings of wildflower season up there too.

Such a fun trail to do. Ride Merlin counter clock wise for a smooth fast downhill. Very busy trail so keep you eyes open especially on Baggin Rights. But yeah, go do it!

Did this hike today with my 11 yr old. Great and fun hike. Mostly mtn bikers, but surpisingly polite. Loads of families. Boundary Ridge to Strange Brew to Ranger Summit Loop worked out well. Taking Ranger first would be pretty steep. Two hours up, 1 hour down, half an hour for lunch. 1 main vista with a couple of other nice views. The amount of signage was the best I've seen. Lots of criss cross trails so you can make it longer or shorter. Will definitely do again. Lots of off leash dogs, througout trail. Most well behaved. I wouldnt take a younger child on this hike for this reason. Aside from that perfect!

Nice easy trail, but lots of mountain bikes. Be prepared to move out of the way often.

Epic MTB trail in winter and summer. Local favourite for bikers as strange brew has a super wicked descent.
Local bears frequent during the season, always carry bear spray. Cougars nearby as well season long.

Would have rated higher but for the mountain bikes
