Great hike (moderate) with beautiful views at summit. 3 hours, May 26, 2018

Absolutely beautiful views at the top, still snow in some spots. went a bit further along the ridge past the summit, totally worth it to go the little bit extra! Hiked May 21/18

good hike - still had snow on the trail in some areas, but manageable to get past it. views were awesome at the top. we didn't go far along the ridge at the top, just did the summit hike.

A great little 5km trail with options to do additional kms after the loop. From the parking lot we walked to the lake and kept right until we found the trail. Take a left soon after and that is the start of the trail. It was our first time on the trail and I used GPS which really helped us stay on trail with 3 or 4 intersections that could have got us lost. We did the loop clockwise and looked for the side trail that continues climbing upwards but couldn't find it. Trail was dry and in great condition.

Great family hike.

Very good hike, steady slope for most of the way. There are a few lookout spots on the way to the top that houses an amazing view of the kananaskis country area! When I went there was a tremendous amount of snow about 3/4 of the way up, but it just added to the challenge. The view at the top is gorgeous. You will get a beautiful sight of the mountain ridge to the west. Overall it was a great hike, would definitely recommend to the experienced hiker!

As of May 15, there was still quite a bit of snow on the trails towards the top

One of my favs! Great short hike with amazing views. May 15/18 - Trail very muddy as still lots of snow melting off. Sections of waist deep snow all the way up. Dry and clear once you pass the treeline.

The trail was nice and not too much debris, just in certain areas but it was easy to bypass. The view near the end was beautiful and there wasn’t too many people on a Saturday, when we went. Saw lots of Moose droppings, so they are in the area. Thought we heard one as well, but didn’t see any.

Lots of debris on trail. Very pleasant hike. Tried Deer Ridge but still lots of snow & ice

Beautiful spot in the fall, fun for kids to wander around lots of wildlife and scenery. We have gone to the picnic spots and roasted weenies

trail well used no snowshoe needed. recommend boots as there was some ankle deep snow.

Connect to coxhill for a point to point. Great hike along nice open ridges

I followed Eagle Hill, went up the very steep hill around the loop and followed the well traveled trail back. Somehow ended up on the highway so next time, stay left.

Well marked trail. Challenging enough for us old prairie folk.

Slow steady climb. Nice day and a nice panoramic view at the rock cropping summit. Wonderful place to enjoy lunch. Have not spent much time in the area. Neat to see Moose Mountain from the Cox Hill vantage point.

Not a well groomed trail most of the way. We got to around sign #3 of the interpretive trail and went left where we should have gone right. Ended up doing a loop that was 3km instead of the 2ish km we had expected. Lots of nice wild flowers and valley views. A little buggy. Nice picnic area after at the pond.

We hiked this 3x in a week in June, so beautiful, one of our favourite, the only issue is you have to drive in dirt road 18 kms.

Always a favourite. Easy hike.

Did it today with my sister who is a beginner hiker. Beginning is switch-backs, manageable for a beginner if you take your time. There wasn't another soul on the trail. Being just the two of us made me worry about bears in the open parts, but luckily all we saw for wildlife were some chipmunks. Great views at the top from both sides. Would recommend.

Pretty decent hike! We got seriously messed up at the start and wandered around on cowpaths for a while. We should have stayed low instead of going up to the lookout bench. After that is fine. Bit of a grind up a cut line but the top was very nice. Walking through pines down to edge of Sibbald Flats. Took our old dog.

Amazing view at the top. I didn't find this hike to be to difficult and it was during winter. Can't wait to go back and see it during the summer.
