This a great hike for families. My kids (ages 6 and 10) handled it beautifully. The bridges are fun to cross and they enjoyed jumping from rock to rock in places. You may see climbers so look up!

Easy trail. Took us 2 hours but we stopped at the end for half an hour and had some long photo stops plus watched the rock climbers. We took our shoes off and walked through the icy water to view the waterfall but it was so cold our feet hurt and it was not worth it. Better to climb up and look down at the waterfall.

in a nice day you'll see lots of climbers too!

This was s good hike for our family. We hiked with our two boys (10&8) and our pup. Lots of families and people going through the trails. Pet friendly

Short and sweet, small waterfall, walk beside and around the creek the whole time, pretty easy/beautiful. Wasn’t sure about it at first but def worth it. If you want to do the steep climb to the top, just be aware it’s a little difficult coming back down as it’s pretty steep. When you get up, take a right and follow the little trail for a nice mountain view and a spot to eat lunch :D there’s an arrow marked where you go back down again so you won’t get lost.

Good and really easy hike, took us approx. 45 min there and back. We had dogs with us and they really loved the creek along the trail. If you’re looking for a quick one, put this one down on your list!

Went in winter got stuck in a blizzard but really easy to navigate. Super fun (and easy) for both humans and dogs!
Also managed to snap some amazing pictures!

What a beautiful trail. I went with 4 boys and it was easy and interesting. I loved the walk! It was around 5pm walking in, so there was hardly any people. I was disappointed that I couldn’t see the falls at the end- you had to boulder up (no thanks) but the boys did it -which gave me multiple heart attacks. I couldn’t walk through the river to see it, the water was COLD and the logs were not stable enough for me to walk over. But I would do the trail again, it was so lovely!

Great small hike. Trail is in good shape.

Easy trail... but beautiful views

great little hike!

Very nice family-friendly hike. Interesting to see all the climbers as you hike the trail. Cool man-made bridges as you cross the creek throughout the hike.

This is a very easy hike for folks of all ages. We met numerous families comprised of children (of all ages), parents and grandparents and dogs (of course). The creek was higher than normal which made for a bit of a leap to cross at one spot where there is no bridge. The rest of the creek crossings are made via the many bridges. Once at the top a couple explained that one can usually hike right up to the falls but this year the water level (~6”-8”) made it impossible for us. There are a lot of smaller logs and such to walk on to get back into the falls if one so desires.

All in all, we enjoyed our time. It took us about 1.5 hours return including numerous stops for pictures and probably a 20 minute stop at the top to crawl along the rock face to get a view of the end of the falls.

Since the flood the trail had changed dramatically! The reclaimation was done beautifully, and the new trail is just as lovely to hike. Easy to follow trail with a wonderful view! Currently there is a bear warning in effect. Also it should be noted that the trail is now only about 2km in, instead of the 2.9km listed.

Quick little hike, beautifully follows the creek, you zigzag up many different bridges that is kind of fun. Pretty waterfalls and views along the way

Awesome trail ! A bit harder then expected. But we haven’t been out in a long time. A few spots we were confused on where to go ! Lots of flowers and rock climbers. Bathrooms. Great hike !

Nice easy hike, but really nice scenery with the rocks and creek.

Did this with my 3 and 5 year old, who are taller than most. They loved it- it was just challenging enough for them to make it feel like an “adventure.” A beautiful hike for all ages. There’s an extra bit of the trail at the end that leads up to the top of the cliff. This was too much for the kids but easy for adults. Worth the view!

Easy trail. First bit is along the highway so it’s a bit noisy but gets quiet as you get closer to the creek.

Great hiking trail for families and dogs!! Beautiful spot!

9 and 7 yo were overjoyed with the water features and scrambling available at their level. I carried a 3yo until the first waterfall, and she was able to get up to the notch on her own... then back on the back for the way down.

Nice easy way to spend a morning. Gets super busy with small families and dogs but still peaceful and beautiful.

First 2-5mins has Hwy noise. After that nothing but beautiful views and the sound of the creek. The trail criss crosses heart creek the entire way. There are 7 bridges to cross. There is one spot where you have to cross just using the rocks, prepare to get a little wet! Great family hike, we had dogs and kids ages 2,4 and 6yrs old with us.

Our family made most of this trip. at the end to go up to the very top, there was a lot of loose stone and it was quite steep, so we didn't get to the top. We still enjoyed it and would recommend to others.

Very pretty hike. Creek, flowers, little waterfalls, neat forested areas. Nice and easy, but still fun. Very busy though.

Easy, nice, relaxing quick walk you can do in 2-3 hours easily.

Great hike to bring your kids on!

Great little hike, heavily trafficked.

Good for beginners and kids. It was cool to see the rock climbers off to the side. Other than that, not much for views on this hike. Make sure you have hiking boots for this one as there are lots of places that you can hurt your feet or roll an ankle.
