Easy hike, first attempt was in the spring when there was still ice which was dangerous and had to turn around because we did not have ice cleats. 2nd attempt we did in the summer and it was nice. We brought a first time hiker on this one!

This is one of my favorite trails to do in the summer, it gets really icy during the winter months though. I've done it with small children and dogs before so it's a pretty easy trail.

decent hike to not be able to see waterfalls at the end. if u want to see waterfalls u will need to bring climbing rope to get over a 15ft rock wall in the way. there is a hidden gem out there that did make the trip worth while so do some research before going cause it is not marked when u get there. cheers!

Did this hike yesterday by accident. It was neat being by the creek the whole way. Nice, easy hike with bridge crossing, which I found enjoyable. Lots of kids at the end of the trail though, so a bit loud. Friend and I were supposed to go up heart mountain. I wish the T-sign mentioned where the trail up the mountain started. So if you see red writing on the sign saying heart mountain to the left, that was me haha. Unfortunately it was too hot for us to continue.. next time!!

This light hike is more about the journey than the destination. Accurate to the app, we walked 3 miles (4.8km) The waterfalls at the end of the canyon are shielded by rock faces, so we could hear it but not see it. The rocks surrounding it were pretty steep and slippery from being wet so we did not attempt to climb on them. We went around 9am and had the trail to ourselves besides maybe 4 other people. Took about an hour to walk comfortably to the end of the canyon, stopping for pictures and to read interpretive trail signs. On our way back, we saw the trail get busy with families and people and their dogs. Definitely early bird gets the worm. Nothing too strenuous, the bridges are fun to walk over, and the views are very rewarding for being just off the highway! Lovely morning hike

Always a good time. Normally the first hike of the year, just to get started. Nothing crazy, good for all ages and levels.

We did the hike yesterday with a 2 year old. Easy hike and a lot of fun. Recommend going before 10am to beat the crowd.

Great for a quick morning hike before the trail gets too busy. The creek is nice.

Nice walk in the park. HEAVILY trafficked (people and dogs). Lots of families, definitely an easy hike that could be done with kids. Waterfall isn't really anything spectacular but the stream running through the trail is pretty. If you want a nice view, cross the river at the end of the trail and continue on up the side of the mountain (trail is clearly visible to the left of the 'waterfall'). Hang a right at the top and you will have a gorgeous view of the river valley below. Note: trail up the mountain is a bit of a scramble. Wouldn't do this one again but it's a nice stop off the highway or you're looking for a quick little hike!!
