Gorgeous and extremely fun trail. Not well marked, I would recommend bringing a phone with gps and using the all trails map — it saved us a number of times. Took us about 5.5 hours but we were rushing as we had to get home. Could easily spend 7 or more hours on this trail if you were taking your time or taking breaks. The Plane Crash is really cool, we only saw snow at the very top, and the wild flowers are absolutely amazing this time of year.
The trail is overall a slow and steady incline, but the last 2 km before the actual crash get pretty steep. We may have taken a wrong turn or something, but our final distance was 23.5 km, not 20.
Was a great time, would definitely recommend!

Beautiful once you get to the site, but should be marked better as it's easy to get lost. Constantly had to check the map to make sure we were on the right path.

Long uphill hike. Not well marked. Took the wrong route twice. But was neat to see the plane wreckage. Mostly atvs and dirt bikes on this trail.

Nice hike but is difficult to find the entrance to the trail. Not well marked either

It's a long hike basically straight up. You can just ATV/Dirt bike to the top if you so wish. Beautiful views and scenery. Some of the wreckage, like the motor is still under snow, best to do this hike in August of you want to see it

The road up to the trail is very drive-able for a long distance, letting you choose how long a hike you want. Lots of ATV’s and dirt bikes on this trail.

If you need clear directions and the well traveled trail this is not the place for you, but if you like to find your own way and want the mountain to yourself , this is the trail for you, it’s a good workout with a lot of elevation gain and beautiful views.

Snow patches from about the 3/4 mark and full snow for about the last km and up to the top bowel. Nice and packed down from sleds though so easy hiking,
