Good clean trails. Nice hike. We did the complete loop in around 1:45 min. Make sure you wear running shoes as there are a lot of ingrown tree stumps along path. Path is will maintained.

We went in March. It was icy, but very easy and kids friendly hike.

Very easy and safe walk. Close to Calgary. If you dont know how to spend few free hours this place will do it.

Drying up quick. Great start to the season!

Sunday April 30th
This trail was a lovely walk. At this time one of year the ground had every condition - dry, boggy, snow and icy. We didn't need crampons, our waterproof walking boots were perfect for this trail.

Once on the trail we took the right turning to begin and I'm glad we did. Taking the trail this way meant the incline was a challenge but not too difficult. The lookout point is beautiful.

We got round the full trail in about 2 hours, seeing only 1 other person the entire time.

There are toilets in the car park but no rubbish bin!

Lots of mud/snow right now (April) but I really enjoyed the trail! Really accessible for newbies, the woods felt lovely, and the occasional view. All that, and it's just an added bonus it's a 5 minutes drive from my home!

April 19,2017. Trail is dry for the most part but there are quite a few mud, snow and ice patches. We could bypass most of it and my mom used her hiking poles. Crocuses are blooming at the lookout and all in all It was the perfect hike, with a dog within 30 minutes of the city. Can't wait to go back with our kids!

A nice and quiet park

Nice quiet forest walk

Nice little 7kms with some nice view points. Very icy, wear spikes until no snow, lots of shade and icy steep bits. Lots of variables for trail lengths and would be a good snow shoe with more snow.

Lovely quiet trail system
