love this trail. took a few hrs but it was very peaceful and dense with trees. good for a bit day as there is shade! good for families and kids as well

Very simple walk. The loop is easy to find if you follow the GPS. Takes 30-45 ish minutes depending on how fast you walk, but there is a nice river near the trail to take dogs swimming.
Good for families and dogs, but it is very easy so do not go here if you’re looking for a challenge.

Forested trail, easy hiking path. Shade was good for the dogs on a warm afternoon.

Good for a easier hike, great on a hot day... a good one for younger kids... couple trees down

Great little hike in the woods, with pine and spruce needles underfoot, wildflowers, and two ponds. We appreciated the forest canopy on a 27c day. Wildflowers were everywhere, and some good bird sightings near the ponds. As a bonus, eating our picnic meal at a table by the river (next to the parking lot). Great late afternoon/early evening escape from the city. Just 1/2 hour drive!

Lots of switchbacks, very pretty and peaceful about 1k in when the traffic noise is gone. Quiet trail for a Sunday. Great hike close to the city.

Good little hike. went in Feb 2017.

My favourite trail to run in town. From the river to the school and back it’s about 8.5km.

Very poor signs. Our 1 km trek turned into 6 or more km! Overall a very easy hike suitable for a 4 yr old.
