early walk in the morning with friends so great, love the nature so much!

Did this hike today in late may and it was good. Very popular and busy. Quite easy. Views from the top were good and you could see all of Banff. The gondola and restaurants up top took away from the experience of hiking it and make it feel like a very touristy spot. But it’s a good quick heart racing hike if you want to ease yourself into harder trails.

Nice hike, dry and well-marked. Too busy at the summit but it's worth it. 3 hours return.

Excellent hike, good trails, dry, well marked, Ink Pools very rewarding, lots of opportunities to get great pics.
16 kms round trip.

May 18, 2018 mud and snow with a little dry spots. I would recommend to get some grip-ons, just to make it safer. However, my friends were in skateboard sneakers and they have completed the trail.

Nice views but a little touristy.

Great hike with moderate traffic. Made it to the hoodoos & turned back and caught a bus downtown. We parked at the train center as it has 8 hours of free parking.

Great little hike. I would recommend going early to beat the crowds. Wouldn’t be a bad trail to run either

It was a nice hike hike...easy though

Incredible scenery!

Amazing views, pictures could never do it justice.

Very busy. Not really a true hike since they are paved but still a very pretty walk with lots of great views.

Nice hike

Great place to go for a few hours. Nothing overly difficult. Very busy most days

The path is paved so I can't call it a hike.
However, for visiting friends or those not wanting something strenuous it is a nice walk to the falls.
However, if you want to skip the crowds, go up to the Ink Pots.

A really good beginner to moderate hike

5/17 would recommend crampons. Great hike!

Amazing canyon to hike through. The mountains, falls and ink pots are all must sees. Not too difficult and the trail is well maintained. Bring plenty of water and trail snacks. Enjoy the beauty within these Northern Rockies!

une montée régulière mais un peu platte , c'est très large comme trail et très très passant . mais la vue en haut est incroyable. Juste pour ça ça vaut le déplacement.

Enjoyable hike in the spring. Beautiful view at the top.

Our fav hike with 2 kids (9 and 11), slippery after mirror lake.

Hiked to Inkpots early May, few spots with ice. Beautiful hike.

Once you get past the tourist hoards it’s great. I love the ink pots.

Great hike, little slush still at the top but bare and wet at the bottom.

Our first hike while visiting Banff. Still decent amounts of ice on the trail in early May. Glad we went earlier around 10am as there were less people on the way up. Walkways got a little crowded on our way down as more people got there. ~2 hr round trip including plenty of time to take pictures.

Completed this back in early June. Very busy trail but beautiful hole as we followed the side path down to the lower falls right next to it.

We did the lower falls in April. Still lots of snow, crampons very useful! Pretty easy hike.
We did the upper falls in May. Still a bit of snow where the sun doesn’t hit, but nothing too major. The trail did get quite slick.
Planning on doing ink pots in June.
