Did this hike today in late may and it was good. Very popular and busy. Quite easy. Views from the top were good and you could see all of Banff. The gondola and restaurants up top took away from the experience of hiking it and make it feel like a very touristy spot. But it’s a good quick heart racing hike if you want to ease yourself into harder trails.

Nice hike, dry and well-marked. Too busy at the summit but it's worth it. 3 hours return.

Great views of Minnewanka for majority of the hike - it's at lot of kms but not technically hard. We did it in about 7 hours with a long break.. trail was in good condition, had to "move" the big horn sheep off the trail with loud noises.. no berrys or signs of bears yet....

Excellent hike, good trails, dry, well marked, Ink Pools very rewarding, lots of opportunities to get great pics.
16 kms round trip.

Fairly easy trail and worth the effort for the view at the end

Went there yesterday on May Long and overall a nice trail with gradual climb at the beginning, but still quite muddy and about half way in there began to have a good amount of snow. People walked out a slightly hard packed snow path but it is easy to step an inch or two off the path and get yourself into some knee deep snow so be prepared to bring extra socks because they will likely get wet on your way in & out.

Great hike. Good elevation and awesome views of Banff and surrounding area.

Great little hike. I would recommend going early to beat the crowds. Wouldn’t be a bad trail to run either

great trail if you want to avoid the croud of Johnston canyon still very muddy and some snow and icy sections but was worth the hike and amazing views, there are also camp grounds if you continue walking.

It was a nice hike hike...easy though

Nice short hike. The path is still snow-covered.

No snow no mud. The lookout was beautiful. It was relatively an easy.

First time on Tunnel, great little hike! Dry and busy. Amazing views

Nice hike

Took our 10 month old up in the pack and it was the perfect trail for that. Not overly exerting and great views. Very accessible and well maintained trails.

First time hiking tunnel mountain. It was a Friday evening at 6:30, the sky was clear and very little breeze with a temp of about 12c. It was prefect. Looked out to the east at the mountain range, Bow river and Lake Loiuse golf course. It was less than a hour with quick breaks. There’s a sitting area with two chairs but go further to the rock slab. Beautiful view. Had a nice snack and others took our group picture. The walk down took 25 minutes. Prefect hike.

Walked this trail several times in different seasons. Last time the lake was frozen.

Great place to go for a few hours. Nothing overly difficult. Very busy most days

A really good beginner to moderate hike

Amazing canyon to hike through. The mountains, falls and ink pots are all must sees. Not too difficult and the trail is well maintained. Bring plenty of water and trail snacks. Enjoy the beauty within these Northern Rockies!

Finally got to do this one. Nice little hike very accessible and trail is in great condition. Views can't be beat 2 hrs well spend.

Hiked this weekend still some very wet and washed out sections on the lower trail snow and ice on the upper part past the junction with the upper JC falls. A bit of a slow go at times but overall quite doable. You do avoid most crowds but unfortunately not all, for anyone thinking of blasting a portable speaker while hiking please do us a favour stay at home and annoy your neighbours in stead.

une montée régulière mais un peu platte , c'est très large comme trail et très très passant . mais la vue en haut est incroyable. Juste pour ça ça vaut le déplacement.

Great hike with very nice views.

A nice short hike. Less than an hour round trip. The trail was still snow covered on 5/12/18 and the lake completely frozen. Hiking boots needed and cleats would have been helpful but not necessary.
