Beautiful easy trail with stairs the whole way up! The view of Moraine Lake is worth being with all of the crowds!

Super crowded trail come early if you want to get parking and see the falls without standing in line. Otherwise a family friendly trail easy.

Great trail. Give yourself some time if going with kids. Went fairly early and no mosquitos! Very nice

This is a must if you are okay with getting up at the crack of dawn! We got to the parking lot at 5:30am and we got the second to last parking spot, no joke. The easy trail gives you amazing different views of the lake that you can't get anywhere else. Well worth the early start.

Tried to hike this 3 different times. Once at 645 am. Tried at 1:30 pm and again at 5:30 pm. The lot is always full. The bus ride line was too long. We opted out. I don’t think there is anything prettier than Peyto lake on Icefields parkway.

So breathtakingly beautiful from the top! A must do

So beautiful with every turn and changes with every shift of the clouds and sun

Very crowded but also very beautiful. We paid the $10 fee to park right in the lot but the roadside was lined with cars for a long distance

It was a nice nature walk, but not a hike. Perfect for families, children, and those who can’t hike much elevation. we got to the Upper Falls and had to wait in a 20 minute line in order to even see it. Takes the awe out of it for sure. We took the walk though, so waited in line! If we had the time, we would have kept walking to the ink pots, but unfortunately had to head out. Whole thing with the line took us an hour and 15 minutes.

Friendly and fast hike despite the world - some corners to rest near the lake and enjoy the view.

Pretty easy trail with lots of great views! It can get pretty crowded though.

Easy walk along a beautiful lake to the rush of a waterfall.

Quick easy climb to spectacular views (even in the rain).

We went at 2 pm when everyone else was leaving. So there was plenty of parking. It’s 0.5 miles from parking lot to waterfalls and super crowded. The waterfall is worth it

Wonderful canyon and very accessible. Beautiful colors and falls. Busier than Disneyland. We were there in July in a rainstorm and it was bumper to bumper until the first falls. Got a tad better the rest of way to upper falls.

Not much of a hike more a short walk but the lake is incomparable. My wife and I got to parking lot at 330 am because we were tired of being turned away with a full parking lot the day before. We were able to watch the lake appear out of darkness as sun came up. Wonderful experience. Because we were at moraine early we were able to head to Louise as well.

Extremely busy trail. Not for the AllTrails user looking for spectacular views or any sense of isolation. Fully developed the entire way, with moderate lookouts to two waterfalls.

Doesn’t get much easier than this - crowds would make this a -1 star, scenery brings it up to 5 stars. Absolutely beautiful.

Not much of a hike but they views are second to none

Nice easy walk. Short with pretty waterfalls at the end. Very kid friendly

Was a great walk. Took my granddaughter and she really enjoyed the scenery. Busy trail though

Cool little walk to the waterfall! Definitely go under the cave thing to get closer to the falls, worth the wait

Absolutely stunning!

Simple walk from the parking overlooking a promontory that offers a sublime view of Moraine Lake.

Nice and easy hike.. But overcrowded

So incredibly gorgeous!! This is a very very easy walk and a photographer's dream trail :)

The most beautiful view I've ever seen.

Nice easy walk aroubd the lake with amazing views of the surrounding peaks and the glaciers. We arrived at the “Park and Ride” around 7:15, to take the first bus up (7:30am) directly to Lake Morraine. We went up the Rock Pile trail and then headed to this trails. The crowds were not bad this early on and the trail was pretty quiet. We hiked past the end of the boardwalk on the right side of the falls and following the path up to the point our kids were tired, then returned.

Nice easy hike. Get here early to be able to best the crowds and get the reflexion of the mountains in the lake.

Arrived at 615a and waited about 20 mins to get a spot. At that time of day, it seems they were letting people drive up and waiting for the even earlier crowd to depart. Completely worth it, crowds or not!
